on a night that alan padjen took a gamble on the weather, myles bishop and his velocity motorsports team rolled the dice and supported padjen's opening night of the 2008 360 sprint car championship campaign for placerville speedway.
myles and the crew started the night off with qualifying which was a barn burner with andy gregg setting a new track record of 10.023,myles qualified a respectful 10.688 which with the quality of cars at placerville placed myles 18th in the order.
myles next hurdle was to transfer from his heat race to the A-main,myles did so with smooth consistant laps as he quickly got used to the new surroundings of placerville speedway.
myles started the main in 15th spot and began his quest for rookie of the year by being consistant yet aggresive, myles learned something new as each lap passed on the tricky placerville clay.
myles completed the main event in the 10th position and is looking forward to coming back to placerville speedway again on april 5th,please come after the races and see myles and the velocity team where myles will have autograph cards for all.
