How many different cars can you name that Steve, Sammy and Wolfgang have driven in their career?

Kinser 22 cars, Sammy 49 cars and Wolfgang 42. I sent the list to Doug when he retired and he had forgot he drove some of them. Those are on my list for each driver.

Sammy drove the Tri-C #3 of Clyde Lamar for a few outlaw events.
Doug and Steve both drove #75 of Gary Stanton as well.

Was wondering when the clippings from NSSN would come in handy some day....
The C.K. Spurlock Gambler Chassis "house-car" No. 18 had each of the Big 3 along with at least Bob Kinser and Danny Smith in 1983.
Sammy and Doug both won WoO sanctioned events as Steve jumps in for guest appearance for the 2-nighter and sweeps the NSCA (National Speedways Contest Association) Nationals in June at Sedalia during an off WoO weekend.
----------
The "Kodiak" sponsorship belinged to Raymond Beadles' No. 1 in 1987 with Sammy behind the wheel.
Les Kepler's No. 18 sports the green/white smokeless tobacco colors when Wolfgang (3rd man in the car that year out of at least 4) drove for him in 1988.

jah42...can you post those lists. I would love to see it.
The car I will always remember even though I can't remember sponsors or owner is the white #4 with yellow wings that Wolfie drove early 80's. I believe at that time he was a Knoxville Regular or at least ran there a lot. I can still picture that car even though I was only 4 or 5 at the time.

That was the Doug Howell's #4 from back in around '82 I believe.
Wolfie also competed in and won in the Danny King #88 NCRA champ dirt car in '83-'85 (I think thoese years) at the Devils Bowl Spring Nationals. Danny King is the father of the late Steve King.
Don't forget that Sammy drove one year for OKC car owner Jeff Gilliam (formally owner of the #29 before that was driven by Johnny Herrera) with Jeff's G&W Trucking sponsorship. Sammy also drove the #75 Tony Bruce Challenger chassis championship dirt car (NCRA) back in 1985) when he "quit" the WoO in a dispute with Ted Johnson.
And also Steve drove the Johnny Vance owned USAC sprint and silver crown cars to victory back in 1982 when he subbed for then injured Rich Vogler. Steve started last in both of those features and won both of those features.

Wolfgang's first ride at Knoxville ('75 season opener) was in Dick Morris' Beck copy #00. He finished 3rd behind Edd French and Ray Lee Goodwin who was in the Speedway Motors car.
Don't forget his record-setting season in Bob Trostle's #20 and he later drove for "Speedy Bill".

Anybody wanna give a go on how many sprinters Haud has driven in his career?
I'll give a shot at the last decade both winged and wingless.....
1998-2000 Elden 22
2001 Roth 83, Wise 97, Ashworth 92
2002 Forbrook 5, Terry Pletch 29 wingless at Osky, Stan Courtad 9x for a few select winged races in Ohio
2003 Forbrook 5, Steve Chrisman 25 for a few USAC shows, Woodward 4
2004 Miller 6m, Cowan 7t for Dirt Cup at Skagit, very short stint with Forbrook at Eldora and K'Ville, Hoffman 69 at Eldora 4-Crown
2005 Elden 22, Fisher 75, Grove 70, Roth 83jr.
2006-07 Wright One 35
2008 Carnahan R19
I count 17 in that list alone

Sammy in the Bobby Davis Electric 71 early in his career. He won the spring nationals at Devils Bowl in 1977 in it.

Sammy also drove a "#1" car for Roth a few times including the Nationals. That would have been the season where TK was driving the 83 and Roth had Kasey Kahne driving the 83jr. I remember this as I was anticipating all 3 cars on the track at the same time.
