I just took a look at the names that has "officially" signed up to run full-time with the Outlaws last year. The list is absolutely staggering!!! You talk about a tough, tough race night in and night out this coming year. So, here is the complete list as of right now of the full timers next year....

Donny Schatz- Parker Stores #15

Steve Kinser- Quaker State #11

Danny Lasoski- Roth Motorsports #83

Tim Kaeding- Kinser Racing #11K

Paul McMahan- Tony Stewart Motorsports #20

Joey Saldana-Kasey Kahne Motorsports #9

Craig Dollansky- Karavan Trailers #7

Brooke Tatnell- Volcano Joe's Coffee #2

Daryn Pittman- Titan Garages #21

Jac Haudenschild- Wright One Construction #35

Chad Kemenah-Grove Racing #70

Tim Shaffer- Casey's General Stores #6

Jason Meyers- Elite Racing #14

Jason Solwold- Carnahan/City Wide Insulation #R19

Randy Hannagan- THR/Penthouse #1x

Justin Henderson- Dan Oswalt Racing #D1

Becca Anderson- Woodring #19

Jeremy Campbell- Campbell Motorsports #10c

Jason Martin- NOS Energy Drink #36

Dion Hindi- Hindi Motorsports #11d

Bill Rose- Rose Motorsports #6

Brian Carlson- Carlson #18

You might add Jason Sides to the list if he is in the Top 20 in points after the first 5 WoO races. Thats a possible 23 drivers coming to the track every night!! I do think some will drop off after a few races because they wont get the tow money for being in the Top 20 in points.

Hey dirtracefan 21 - How about a link to where you found the "Official" list of drivers/teams who have "signed up" for 2007?

Also, where are the new rules published for allocation of tow money (link)? DIRT still just has the 2006 rules on their site.

Terry McCarl - Look out for him in his third full season in a row! People aren't talking about him. (not on your list)

I think you have to know the secret handshake to know what the tow money is...

The WoO/DIRT issued a press release in late November/early December that announced the tow money guidelines. It was published in NSSN, amongst others, and basically stated...

The top 20 in points will receive tow money; the first five races will use 2006 point standings to determine who gets the tow money. Race six will the be used to "reset" the top 20 in points and who gets the tow money. The top 20 will be reset every Sunday based on the previous weeks results. Tow money will be $500 per race.

Seems like a fair deal.. It encourages teams to stay engaged with the WoO to get tow money, and it allows to "earn" their way into the tow money fund based on their on-track performance. And there will be a lot of competition to get into the top 20.....

So where is the secret?

I am lucky that I get to see everyone racing together at the end of Februrary at the Tulare Thunderbowl with all our local CA drivers. I am really looking forward to it!

the way i saw things when we signed the contract was top 5 teams from last year got 500 a night all year. then top 5 in current points got 500. every one else in top 20 got 300.so if all top 5 teams from last year were in top 5 in current year they would get their 500 and the next 5 in current points would get 500 per night also. if none of the top 5 from last year were in top 5 current, they would still get 500 and the top 5 in current points would get 500.my head is hurting just trying to figure it all out!! BUT dirt said that may change.if it did, good for us all.

Spoke to the Madsen group a couple of nights ago sounds like they will be running some Outlaw shows but will run for the money at other times. Not sure this is set in stone.
