Rocket Chassis announces the sale to MMSS Inc.
Rocket Sprint Car Chassis is a well known west coast Sprint Car manufacturer that has successfully been in business for more than 15 years. They have hundreds of main event wins to their credit, of late the 2006 Trophy Cup in Tulare with Tim Kaeding at the wheel.
Mark Badock, Director of Operations of MMSS Inc, said in an interview today “We foresee a great synergy between Triple X Race Co and Rocket Chassis. The Rocket Chassis R&D department is among the very best in North America, and we will leverage that expertise to augment current Triple X Race Co capabilities, giving us a world class manufacturing and development ability that will be unmatched in the industry. Both companies will continue to operate as separate entities, with information and knowledge being the only shared resource between the two. Rocket will also be our solution to demands for low volume manufacture of custom race car components for our clients outside of the Sprint Car market.”.
Ben Curtis, long time owner of Rocket Chassis and SpeedMart (a well recognized Washington State parts store) is elated by the deal. “The new ownership will take the Rocket Chassis to levels that in the past have been unattainable. We have always felt we have the best chassis in the industry, and now Mark and his staff will be able to bring that chassis to a larger market. The staff here at Rocket is excited by this new venture.”.
Cal Herdson, President of Triple X Race Co stated that “the production and manufacturing of the USA made Rocket Chassis will remain unchanged by this move. The current Rocket Chassis will be made by the same staff, managed by Jon Farrell, using the same materials. It will continue to operate in Sedro Wooley, WA. This simply gives MMSS Inc. another product line for their customers to choose from. Rocket’s function as it related to Triple X Race Co will be to aid in chassis and component design. It will continue to be a full service facility for chassis R&D, custom manufacturing and testing.”.
