Voting For USAC's Most Popular Drivers Heating Up as Deadline Approaches
INDIANAPOLIS - Less than 48 hours remain for fans to vote on USAC's three "Most Popular Driver" awards for the 2006 racing season.
A solid cast of votes, representing more than half of the drivers eligible for the awards, has flooded the voting email address inbox already. A duo of drivers from the Western and CRA regions seem to have a solid lock on the inaugural awards, while the National driver lingers still in the air.
But that can all change at the stroke of midnight PST Friday (Dec. 22). Votes are being taken until that point, and the winning drivers will be named at a later time.
Remember, to vote, email [email protected] and specify which driver(s) you'd like to vote for. Each driver is represented in only one of the three categories - National, Western and CRA. Only one vote for each region is eligible per email address.
