Schuchart wins from 13th?!?

Wow...for the first few laps, when Brown took off in the lead, I was like "Oh no, another boring 1/2 mile freight train"....

Then it got good... terrific battle for Top 5, Schatz, Haud, Gravel, Brown, Sweet....:)

Oh yea, Schuchart is Posse!!!! ;)

Did his tires smell like they did at the nationals?

I've heard a lot of people saying similar things. Is there truth to it? Who knows but any time someone is winning, there's no shortage of people to point the finger. I'd like to think that considering the WoO are the pinnacle of the sport, that such shenanigans wouldn't have a real long shelf life. The fact that Jeff Halligan got clipped last year tells me that they probably are proactive. Either way, Logan drives the nuts off of the car and WILL win a WoO title in the near future. I think Jacob will find his stride too.

What does the WoO have to do with this? It was an All Star race.

Seeing Brown leading, you were garaunteed to see passing at some point. He's definately a front to the trunk guy at most places besides Kville. How he does it for a living is baffling.

Nothing. The point I was making is, I heard accusations of it last year and I figure if he was doing it, the WoO would catch it eventually since he races with them full time. To be clear, I don't buy into rumors and accusations. He was already a hell of a driver when he left my neck of the woods for the road. I'm not at all surprised that he is where he is today because he has elite talent, a great head on his shoulders and his grandfather is Bobby Allen. I personally think he's just THAT good and that will remain my opinion unless the accusers can come up with something a little more substantial than a rumor.

I probably laughed more than I should have at that first sentence.

When you roll into the biggest race of the year with heaps of old used tires and the smell (if you know the smell, then you know what i'm talking about) that is culminating from one spot in the pits. This does not mean anyone is gulity, I would say there is some suspect thoughts. Innocent until proven guilty and no one has been caught, so I will stand by their innocence.

So your saying he went from the back to second in the biggest sprint car race in the world, made approx. 75k in winnings, tires smelled like they had been doped so badly that everyone in the pits could smell them - and the World of Outlaws didn't take a sample or do anything???  I might not be the brightest guy in the world but that just doesn't make any sense.

So either the World of Outlaws is the biggest Mickey Mouse operation in the history of sports or this flat out never happened.  I'll go with option two in that scenario. Just because somene heard from the girlfriend of a friend who had an uncle that watched the race on Dirtvision doesn't mean it happened - because the facts and common sense show that it never happened.

I just read the write up on the WoO page, Logan's comments in VL were quite respectful of the 15 team. Didnt seem to include arrogance after inheriting the victory at anothers loss. Spoke well of both his and Donnys teams. Sure things happen and take them when you can but he did it respectfully. Nice to read about.

This burnt rubber crap is hilarious.  It goes along with the used tires mentioned. You are not going to find a team out there on the road running used tires today. Putting the juice to a tire is rarely seen anymore also. The Outlaws like those dry slick tracks and if your not running tires that are new or only have minimal laps on them then you mite as well stay in the pits. Guys willsave a tire because of sizing for stagger but that has been going on forever.

It would really look bad if the outlaws test a car that sponsors the series, and came up positive

lohan is a very good driver,  but to say that the rumors are floating around about tihis  are true in the pits

Lindsay Lohan is a very good driver? I suppose. To be honest, the only thing I could gauge that by was her performance in the Herbie the Love Bug #8, but I think she did win. ;)

To be fair, haven't rumors about everything been floating around the pits since the first ever car race?

Anyone think DS crying is due to the fact they spend probably more than anyone on tour and Logan runs with him and heck he passes Donnie too.  Because they don't have the same budget as other teams, well there cheating. Bobby never had the budget of the big dollar teams.  I've said it many, many times Donnie Shatz wouldn't be who he is with out one Ricky Warner. Sure he would have got his share of wins, but nowhere near what he has. Ricky never has rec'd the recognition he deserves as being right behind Karl Kinser as 2 of the very best crew chiefs ever on the outlaw circuit. Night in, night out steve and karl were the kings.  Behind them you have donnie and ricky, hands down.  I believe they have co crew chiefs on the 15 this year, but if Ricky is making the calls donnie will win another woo championship.
