There's some interesting things going on at Rico Abreu Racing. It was posted last night on Twitter and Facebook that Rico Abreu has been released from Rico Abreu Racing and is searching for new opportunities: https://twitter.com/Rico_Abreu/status/1351331768863916033
About 20 minutes ago, it was announced that Jac Haudenschild will be driving the Rico Abreu Racing #24 in 25 events this year, which will also be his final year of racing: https://twitter.com/Rico_Abreu/status/1351597731421118464

Sounds like a publicity stunt for Jac's last season maybe. Why would Rico release himself from his own business, sounds fishy but possibly a money maker.

Pretty easy to believe. It’s not the first time jac has dove that car, jac has a big following in California, his wife is from there...
pretty classy move by Rico if you ask me.

You are right on, there is an article in NSSN with the scoop. Very cool of Rico to put Jac in some top notch stuff for a while. Hope to see Rico back in a midget more this season.

Admittedly I'm a huge Rico fan but every thing I see of him is first class. Great with fans and I know he has tons of respect for Jac and he drove RAR stuff at Triphy Cup a couple years ago if not other times. This is a cool thing to give a legend a chance to go out using top shelf equipment.
On Rico, Scott Traylor told the story of how last week at Chili Bowl there was a tribute to Bryan Gapinski and his wife and kids were there on stage. Scott mentioned that Rico came out of the pits to the infield to pay his respect to the family. Just a class dude.

Jac has been a fixture in sprint cars for several decades and has a large fan following. His win or sometimes wear it style is legendary and He is also one of the good guys. Age is something we cant stop but he can still run upfront.Racing sprint cars for a living except for a select few doesnt have many retirement benefits.Memories and having fun doing what you love is the main one.

Isn't Rico going to be in the 57?

After reading all the tweets and articles, I am still a bit confused on how much Rico is going to race 410's this year. I understand Jac will be in the #24 for approximately 25 races, but is Rico open to run for another team in 2021 or is his car just for Jac this year?

He's listed as such for the Arizona race this weekend. Interesting development if true.
