I emailed the ticket office this morning and this is their response:

"Please be looking for an email from us this week to advise you about digital tickets for the Can Am World of Outlaw World Finals, information about social distancing and all other updated information regarding this event.   Thank you for your patience as we look for final decisions to be cleared up this week."

Respectfully man, that is a very misleading name.

I'm suprised they didn't come down harder on you honestly.

Guys, I'm going to leave this post up for a bit so you can read this message, but we really can't leave a post up that says the event is cancelled. Some people tune out at that point and we all owe the WoO better than that. Granted their situation had changed but nonetheless they are still racing that weekend. This has been a crazy year and everything can and has happened, but not of their doings.

The World Finals as we have known it in the same format of the last few years is cancelled. Yes an event is scheduled in its place but it is not the world finals so Jeremy was correct in stating that fact.

Understand why they cancelled the Big Block Modifieds from the show, but the reasoning of can't have both LM/Sprints in the pit area at the same time doesn't totally square with the World Short Track Championship that appears to be still on next weekend?  With nine divisions?

The world finals is run in front of a packed grandstand it is not allowed this year so just like all the events at eldora as well as the knoxville nationals they were postponed till next year but a race was run in their place of somekind known as a different name and not as lucrative but the world finals didnt offer any more of a purse than the normal show so purse may be similiar to win at least

I checked that out. It looks like it's only 7 classes this year. Then curiosity got the better of me. One of the classes is FWD/Hornets- on a 4/10 mile track!  I just had to catch me some of that action! I watched a FWD/Hornet qualifying feature race of some sort from a previous year.

As the two announcers screamed repeatedly about the action that wasn't happening on the track, the same 3 cars that started 1-2-3 ran the whole race and finished that way. If one of the cars had made a pass, I would have expected someone to yell "slide jobbbbbb!!!!". It wasn't until after the race finished that it was revealed that the race had timed out after 20 minutes. And yet, not a single spinning car was shown. Weird.

They can have them both in the pits.  What they can't do is pay for them both to be in the pits with only two nights of restricted ticket sales.  So they separate them so they can get 4 nights of ticket sales and pay per view instead.

Yea, it's probably a good thing for DirtVision to have 4 nights instead of 3. LMs usually draw 70-80 cars for this show and sprints 40-50 so they'll be more than adequate standalone shows.

Unfortunately I dont think they will get that many lms this year. I hope I'm wrong. My biggest question now is will the track get wide enough with out all of the racing?

Has Charlotte been running this year after they brought in new dirt?
