Heard that are Enid Street Stock rules are changing to get Hoosier point fund money, we have to buy the Hoosier 500 tire.

Well that just sucks for those of us who run Goodyear! How much they gonna rape you for Hoosiers? Maybe I could get Lonnie to buy me some tires if I want to come run up there! lol

Somebody might want to rethink the rumored tire rule for the Street Stocks..We have run them here in Kansas under a certain track promotors rules and it makes for some very boring racing as this tire really sucks on a dry slick track with almost no forward bite..The 500's are literally shaped like a donut and the contact patch gets worse as the track dries out..Around $88 each compared to the faster "10 takoffs at $20 to $30 each will only kill the car counts in the long run.

Wow, thanks for your imput Nulfinski and may I say "welcome" to the tidbits forum. I am sure drivers from around Enid and those concerned thank you for your comments as you have been through it yourself.

Heard that you can run the scuffs, you just won't get any Hoosier point fund money.

No problem David..It's good to see the Oklahoma boys have a place to vent and post news about what's going on..We enjoy running at EMS..The competition level and track speed are 2nd to none.. A forced Hoosier 500 tire rule could mean desaster for allot of teams and fans..Thanks to everybody for the info ! Keep it coming !

Redneck what happened to you guys at the Winter Nats ? I remember brother Ray commenting on how good the 00 car looked all decked out..Very nicely done fellas ! That win for us was a hard fought effort in more ways than I have time to say here..They didn't even post it on the EMS site ! What's up with that anyway ?

If they did post something it would just be the car number and not drivers names anyways.
