I love sprint car racing and as long as I can remember have enjoyed going to the races with dad.

When I was a yungwun I couldn't appreciate all the awesomeness of what makes Knoxville so ...awesome.

The racing itself, the weekly program, the drivers who drop in to get some laps , the announcing, the seating, the bathrooms, the lighting, the speakers, the cleanliness, the push trucks, the four wheelers, Doug Clark and Justin, the technology and video streaming, the video boards, the concessions, the safety crew, the ticket office, the history, the HOF, the Nationals, the phone app, the track prep. Did I miss anything? Oh, how smooth and timely the program runs.

I've been to other tracks, where they are doing what they can to survive, but I hope that we as fans never take for granted what we have in the midwest especially at Knoxville.

So thank you to all the promotors, past and present. Thank you to Kendra, and John McCoy. Thank you to Kirsti and Nick with Checkered Flag Concessions for giving all of us good, affordable food to make the trip to the track even more enjoyable. Thank you for many many others who don't get the recognition for  making Knoxville better and better each year for fans and drivers. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to pass along a love, to my sons, in hopes that one day they will be fixtures in the grandstands like their dad.

Lets go racing!

Well said.   I wish I lived close enough to Knoxville to attend regularly and not just for the Nationals.   For that matter, I wish there was a track down here in North Texas that ran nothing but sprints.   I'm quite envious of you YungWun, and I can see you're very grateful for what you have there.
