9/15 9AM GCS EVENT UPDATES:

THE GRAYSON COUNTY SPEEDWAY SPRINT CAR BANDITS EVENT HAS BEEN **POSTPONED UNTIL SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND** DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.

COMPLETE EVENT DETAILS ARE BELOW:

TEXOMA 360C.I. SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIPS COMING to RACIN’ GRAYSON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 22nd! Just 40 Minutes N.E. of McKinney!

Bells, TX ( 09/15/18 ) by DarinShort.com. The newly renovated Grayson County Speedway (GCS) near Bells, Texas (approximately 35 miles NE of McKinney) is a racy ¼ mile bullring, as evidenced by the Sprint Car Bandits® series events held there last September and this May, with 3- and even 4-wide sprint car racing.

Race fans and teams can look forward to more excitement Saturday, September 22nd, when the winged sprint cars of the NCRA Sprint Car Bandits return to GCS with the running of the Texoma 360C.I. Sprint Championships. This is the next scheduled Series event. As was the case in both previous SCB events, make sure to get there in time to grab the seat you want...as they will be going fast on race night. The first green flag is set to wave at 8pm.

The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 15th, but has been postponed until Saturday, September 22nd due to inclement weather. The schedule, format and all other prepublicized event components will remain the same.

There have been 13 different Sprint Car Bandits feature winners in 2018 in the first 15 completed events. A total of 106 race teams from 9 states have earned series points across the 11 SCB series racetracks...so it's anyone's guess as to who could pick up the win at GCS!

MOW TIME of Farmersville will be presenting the Sprint Car Bandits MOST POPULAR DRIVER award…as voted on by your fellow SCB drivers!

Here’s how it will work: When drivers sign in their SCB car Saturday September 22nd, they will write down their pick for the Most Popular SCB driver, and during the drivers meeting we’ll announce the winner! Drivers can pick from any SCB team in the pit area that night (except for themselves).

THANKS to MOW TIME and Lynn McCrary (owner/father of the 13m Chance McCrary) for sponsoring this award, which will include a commemorative plaque and $100 cash. Draw cutoff this Saturday is at 6:30pm with drivers meeting at 6:45pm.

For commercial mowing services in the Farmersville and surrounding area, please visit with Lynn at the track or by calling (972) 784-6520.

Grayson County Speedway is located at 171 Busby Lane Bells, Texas 75414. Click www.GCSracing.com for complete track details. You can also email [email protected] or call (903) 892-3157 if you need additional information. Visit www.facebook.com/graysoncountyspeedway for the very latest in track updates, pictures and much more.

Gates open at 5pm on race day, Saturday September 22nd, with racing at 8pm. Grayson County Speedway divisions will round out the full night of racing; including IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, I-Stock, Factory and Economy classes. The SCB are slated to run 2nd or 3rd division out, as in the past two events.

Standard SCB posted rules and purse structure are in effect. No entry fee or series membership fee; $15 draw-in fee (draw cutoff 6:30, drivers meeting 6:45). Sprint car teams not familiar with SCB series rules or structures should go to www.SprintCarBandits.com prior to arrival for complete rules and procedures information.

Note all sprint car teams that sign in will draw for heat race starting positions, regardless of their engine C.I. displacement (360 or under) and will receive passing points to determine their straight-up from points feature race starting position. All SCB legal teams will compete for the same posted purse regardless of C.I. displacement (360 or under).

We also highly encourage drivers that have yet to compete in our series to visit with any of the teams that have. It takes just minutes to make a typical winged sprint car SCB rules compliant.

We would like to thank the sponsors of the Sprint Car Bandits series: Rodd Hanna's Air Performance, A&M Glass Service, Palm Harbor Homes, Kustom Craft Exhibits, Gen-Tech at FixYourGenerator.com, Mow Time in Farmersville, RockAuto.com, Pro-Tech Service Co., Scott Baylor Racing Engines, American Elevator Technologies, South Dallas Battery & Electric Co., Gary Floyd Homes, Utility Trailer of Dallas, Inc., DFW Urethane, Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville, www.ShopTheBOSS.com , www.DarinShort.com and the SCB points fund is sponsored by Smiley’s Racing Products & Hoosier Tire Southwest.

If your business is interested in getting involved with the SCB series, please contact [email protected] . There are effective programs available for all sizes of budgets.

The 2019 schedule is in the works right now, so if you're a track promoter wishing to book a SCB event for 2019, please contact the series to get your date, as the schedule is already filling up fast.

Click www.SprintCarBandits.com for the latest in series news. You can also reach the SCB on Facebook, at www.Facebook.com/SprintCarBandits

The final 2018 SCB event will be held at LoneStar Speedway on Saturday, September 29th with the running of the Sprint Car Bandits Series Championship, paying $2,000 to win and $300 to start. There will also be a closed pre-race meeting for SCB owners and drivers (only) at 5pm in the LSS Terrace at 5pm to roll out 2019 SCB initiatives, so if you are a SCB driver or owner, you will not want to miss this meeting!

Please make plans to join us for this Sprint Car Bandits series event at Grayson County Speedway Saturday September 22nd with the running of the Texoma 360C.I. Sprint Championships - it's certain to be another wild night of winged Sprint Car racin’ on the ¼ mile bullring!

NCRA Sprint Car Bandits Points, top 30 - as of 8/30/18. 13 different feature winners in 15 events. There have been 106 drivers competing in the series from 9 states across 11 different SCB series tracks.
