Going to the sprint car race for the first time ever only for Thursday booked my flight thinking it would still be Thursday/Friday not Wednesday/Thursday show got it real cheap before the schedule came out. Any suggestions on best place to sit or things going on around the track (not Vegas in general ) but where guys work on their cars before the races around Vegas and stuff like that. Thanks in advance.

When I was on the road and we raced there back in '16. most of the teams were at the Rio, and a couple other hotels right by there. They generally all stay on that side of the interstate as it is easier to get the haulers in there. Otherwise, from my esperiences there, theres not a while lot to do other thn typical Las Vegas stuff lol. Dont think theres a bad set in the house at the dirt track, but I was in the pits last time. This will be my first year going and sitting in the stands. We shall see!

I would say 80% of the teams work on the cars in the pit area of the track. A good number of them leave their rigs right at the track from day one to day two.
