Here we go again (rolling my eyes). I am from PA but could honestly give two shits less whether an "outlaw" or a "posse" wins so long as it is a good race that I paid my hard earned $ to watch! Yes, there are the finest examples of asshats representing both "sides", but stirring shit only creates a stink! Here's to the best car/driver winning on any given night regardless "who" they represent- cheers, I'll drink to that one!! May common sense and the enjoyment of watching a good race prevail!

Wilson,Allen, and Knipp DNQ'd so they are apparently out of provisionals. Wouldn't exactly call 4 out of top 8 an ass woopin. No different when the Posse win....crickets from the Posse haters. It is what it is! Great rivalry, great atmosphere, round 3 tonite.

Couldn't agree more. As long as I see an entertaining and most importantly, a safe race, I'm happy. Unfortunately some people have to take it too far. Supposedly, some low life piece of shit threw a beer at Donny Schatz last night. There's no call for that. People like that are a waste of oxygen. As usual, Donny handled it with the utmost class. He said in his interview with Beerhill Gang TV that he'd prefer someone throw him an unopened beer so that he could at least drink it.

Attended two nights and the 5 car never passed another car for position.
Not saying he sucks, but has the invert draw down.
The 51 had a good run for a young gun, at least Johnny Gibson thought so.
Let me know how the 5 does in the draw tonight...I have other plans
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

As they say, bad publicity is better than no publicity
Intense fans make it fun, ignore the morons
At least we don't have lethal conflicts like the soccer riots in Europe

Gravel is not Posse, & although he rides with the Outlaws, being the ONLY sprint car racer from Connecticut, he is now officially THE LONE RANGER!

There's nothing wrong with cheering and even as much as I hate it, booing. It's just a harmless vocalization. When you get to a point where objects are being thrown, that's over the line and shouldn't be tolerated. You mentioned the lethal conflicts over football in Europe & I'm glad we don't have that going on but I've noticed shit escalating lately with the Posse vs. WoO thing and its only a matter of time until starts getting physical. I think the key is prevention. It's time for management at Williams Grove especially, to start cracking down on some of the over the top behavior we've seen. Admittedly, I don't know if the person who threw the beer was escorted from the facility and told not to return but I certainly hope so. The Posse vs. WoO thing used to be fun but we're seeing an increasing number of people who are beginning to take it too far. Time to squash it before something serious happens. Dumb drunk rednecks firing beers at drivers isn't good publicity. It's just embarrassing.

Agreed. Nobody should be allowed to throw beer cans

Yet, it's a completely different chest thumping tune from you when possee wins from the front row, never an issue with the draw then.

It's starting to sound like the silliness that was going on in Talladega with the taxi cab drivers about ten years ago. In the 40 years that I've been attending local dirt track racing I've been witness to some stupidity, and I've even been a participant on a few occasions. However, it's never been at this level. WG is one of the iconic locations for our beloved sport, and if things get out of hand there it can reflect poorly on all of us. I hope that they take the steps that you're proposing, because if they don't then it's liable to ugly sooner than later.

Outlaws sweep the weekend, impressive run by Stutts early on. Glad to see Stewart get of the schneid and Pittman and Dewease Charge through the field! Looked like Schuhart had something going early by the looks of it on race monitor but couldn't get over the hump it seemed.

We'll be hearing for 2 months about how bad the track was (which is legit) and how terrible the format or restarts were.

Well yea, without the excuses, bragging and shit talking (from both sides) it wouldn't be near as big and intense of a rivalry. Throwing a beer can at a driver is a dick move but it sounds like Donny is gonna be alright. Stuff like that is fuel on the fire, from sound of your post you would probably be dissapointed if you didn't get the chance to forum joust with a couple of Posse tool bags. It sure is fun to read. Keep it up.

Nope. Not as usual. Name one other region that has a better record against the WoO. Go ahead. I'm waiting
