It has been raining in Princeton, Minnesota, since 3am and Modified driver Dennis Jones who lives down the road from the track reports close to two inches of rain and still coming down. Typically when Princeton takes this much water they have to pump it out of the track from the low spot in turns 3&4 into the parking lot. I'm about 50 miles from there and I've got water standing in the yard and the ditches are overflowing onto the road. The Princeton infield is usually a mud bog when we get this much rain because it all runs down the banking. I'm estimating that I'll be able to scrape about 20 pounds of Outlaw mud off my shoes and pant legs.
Should be a profitable weekend for mud sales.
On a serious note, I've seen them work miracles on that track when we've had this kind of weather. I'll be watching the local message board and am off work today tinkering around on my computer so I'll post if I hear anything. There are several special events at Minnesota tracks this weekend with big money on the line so we're all watching the weather. It looks like the rain should be ending this afternoon so we'll see what happens.

Looks like the auction has been pulled. Guess I'll have to get my Knoxville dirt some other time.
