March 23, 2017, Burlington, Iowa- The Shottenkirk Sprint Invaders season blasts off April 1st at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, the famed 3/8 high bank, known as the home of the Invaders! The 2017 race season features 10 events including 3 additional events at 34 Raceway, 2 at Lee County Speedway and return trips to Cedar County Speedway, Dubuque Raceway and Quincy Raceways.
Eighteen teams are already signed in for the 2017 season including ‘14-‘15 Season Champion Jon Agan returning to challenge for another title. Last year’s season finale winner, Jarrod Schneiderman is primed for another great year, not to be outdone by his brother, Josh or his uncle John Schulz. The veteran and seasoned field for this year also includes the likes of Ryan Jamison, Tim Moore, Dave Getchell, Harold Pohren, Rob Weuve and Justin Buchholz to name a few.
Budweiser King of Beers/Golden Eagle Distributors will continue their partnership with the Invaders as the 2017 Super Shake-up Dash Sponsor. Heat race supporters for the 2017 season will include Randall’s Performance & Cenpeco Lubricants. Each of whom have been committed to excellence in providing their customers with the highest standard of service and products around. As such, joining the Invaders as a heat race sponsor for the first time this year is Mohrfeld Electric Company.
