I recently purchased a lighted curio cabinet and would like to display my sprint car collection.I'm just not sure if I'm going to ruin their worth by opening thier packinging. Can anybody point me in the right direction as to where to go to see how much some of my collection is worth? They're mostly 1/64's that I need to know about, any help is appreciated!

Most sprint car die casts are only worth what you paid for them; occasionally, you'll be able to find one for sale with a price well above what it originally sold for. My advice is, if you're looking to make money on your investment in die cast, you're wasting your time.
Why not just enjoy your collection? Open them, display them, and enjoy them. Just don't expect to retire off of any gains in value from your collection. While there are a few items out there that will appreciate in value, most don't.
