Does the Casey's across from the track have biscuits and gravy in the mourning, thought it would be a good breakfast option when staying at the Red Carpet if we can get a room, but if not will see if we can find a camp site. Thinking of comming to a show in June or July. How early should we get to the track to find our seats rumor has it could be kind of tricky. Any feedback would be GREAT.

If not Casey's then the Hy-Vee behind it certainly will.
I do not understand how finding your reserved seats should be difficult, the sections, rows and seats are very well numbered.
Three or four other hotel options in Knoxville besides Red Carpet and plenty up the road in Newton.
Get to the track early in the afternoon and tour the NSCHoF, you will not be disappointed.

I stayed out for the entire week last year, and mostly drank my breakfast, but the one day I went to the Hy-Vee and was not disappointed. I got the all you can eat plate for about $10, and just one plate supplied me with about one metric ton of food. Eggs, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon., etc. Damn near snapped the plate in two.
I also echo speedbump's thoughts about the seats, they are definitely well marked and easy to see.

I would nearly make the 560 mile trip for hy-vee alone. I said nearly, but I have considered it.

Nationals food posts already? LOL. You all must be as ready for the race season as I am.
Downtown Diner on Main St. has great meals and B&G also.

Be careful----some folks on this forum don't like questions that are not directly related to sprint car racing. So let me rephrase the question for you so you don't get in trouble:
"If someone entered turn 1 at Knoxville, lost a wheel, and the wheel bounced over the wall and across the street, is it possible the wheel could go thru the Casey's front door and knock over the person making the biscuits and gravy for the next morning?"
I'm here to help. Now you won't get in trouble. (P.S.--I'm not sure)

Casey's sponsors sprint car racing, so I'm pretty sure they'll let that one go...

I love me some Casey's supreme pizza. Wish we had one here in PA, although I do just fine with Wawa. Rutters is pretty good too.

Casey's Taco Pizza is good stuff. Actually there are good places to stay in the neighboring towns such as Chariton, Indianola, Albia, plus Des Moines isn't that far if there are no places available. All those towns have places to eat breakfast and supplies.
Great Breaded Tenderloins at Smitty's on Army Post Road...an Icon.
