Just thought I'd throw this in here. There is currently a turn key street legal sprint car posted on Ebay. Located in Indiana. It's a nice looking piece too. Ends 6/27/07 .Most of the time when is all said and done , you're better off buying than building, unless you just want the challenge & have waaayy too much time on your hands.:)

Have a look.

That's not to bad but, not exactly what I'm after. I like building so, not a problem.
Thanks for the info. I'll watch to see what it goes for.

About a hundred years ago, like the mid - late 1980s, one of Brent Kaeding's sponsors (High Five Pizza Company) had a street legal (Gambler chasis) sprint car.
There was quite a bit of fabrication that went into it, and for whatever reason, I remember it to be a decent looking ride...but it was the 80s, and I spent WAY too much time with David Castro and the like.
Try calling Miles McEntee...the only number I have is the restaurant @ (408) 629-6800

NIMROD- maybe the cop was on a Dunkin Donuts sugar high, and could not believe his eye's. Do you happen to have a photo ?
Bruce- nope, there's pro's & con's to both. I was hoping to attend the Knoxville Nat's. to see others but, I was not able to go.
Which type do you prefer ?
Maybe I should start a pole. ;)
faster pussycat- thank you, I'll give them a call.
