i am not trying to rain on the parade but it seems that tk is not out of the dark yet. this deal with smoke as i understand is just a short term helping hand not a full time ride.(at least that is the word now.) smoke is not looking to start another team or switch drivers right now. that is what i was told by bud as i posted earlier. the only reason i passed this on after i asked him if it was true he was lending his rig was to try to keep the rumor mill from working overtime. lets hope timmy can get something solid worked out in the time smoke is willing to afford him with the help of a car to run. bud was nice enough to explain some things and confirm some things when i told him rumors were flying around. it just so happens he was by our office today as he is racing a car around here for rick wright. i have to thank bud for the info because like i said stories can start flying around real fast and the next thing you know there is a bunch of name calling and people getting slammed for no reason. like that would ever really happen. lmao.

I for one, really appreciate your info. Keep it coming.

Goddam fair weather fans...

Where was all this frenzy about Kaeding when he took the big money for his 1st WoO A Feature win at King's in the Season Opener of '03?

BTW, What ever happend to Jason Lund?

If I remember correctly, Jason Lund up and quit and sold all his stuff around 1999.

I know for a fact Tim has never liked Williams Grove because he's never ran well there. Tim is a gasser for sure, and if you really want to see a show go watch him race at any bull ring in the US and you'll see what I mean. Hey MSPN what happend to your beloved Flyers?? Go T.Kaeding/Hodnett

San Jose Sharks vs New Jersey Devils is the Stanley Cup Finals Match up with Devils winning it in 7!!

A few years back starting at the Nationals and until the end of the year TK managed to win 5 Outlaw Features in IA, IN, OK and a couple in CA so I think a few people may have heard of him. If you live and race on the porch year round you may have not but the sprint car world knew who he was.

Without looking back into last year's stats didn't he win about 15 NST shows, how many did Paulie win, how many did his Boss win? TK has talent few in the sport have and on top of it he has the ability to make you watch him every time he hits the track, if you have half a clue what to look for.

In a brief conversation with Tim on Friday the deal is a 'temp' so we can cross our fingers and hope that status changes. Paul has a contract for the season but I think Tony could afford to pay it off and put somebody else in the car but I have NO idea this is going to happen. Tony likes to win more than most and he hates to finish 2 -24, or 43rd trust me. As a fan I can only hope that TK gets a chance because I am confident that's all he needs, Take It Easy....

He wasn't voted open wheel driver of the year by the MotorSports Press Association for no reason.  Some of the most exciting sprint car races I have ever seen involved TK.  Not all of them ended up with him winning.  That night at Kings he nearly lapped the entire field.  I think he was up to 4th or 5th.  His last WOO win at Chico was the same way.  Trophy Cup last year was all Hammer Down.  For the last 5 years or so he has been your moneys worth at nearly every sprint car race he has entered, especially on the 1/4s when he is in traffic.

If you have never heard of TK you must not go to any races outside of your local track.

if i am not mistaken it seems that tk was plagued with car troubles on fri nite. that does not change the stats but to compare the 2 based on that nite is not indicitive of tims talent. tim stayed loyal to skr this year and it might have cost him the ride in the 20 car for the season.tim knew going in to the season that money was tight and the car could be parked.

If TK needs a ride he should call the D1. That car is under performing and could use some talent behind the wheel.

Hard to say anyone is underperforming this year, considering the depth of the field.

The WOO needs guys like Henderson out on tour because lapped traffic makes for a much more exciting race to watch...and he's good at it.

Can you blame Tim for staying with SKR? They won 15 NST shows last year. You know what would have happend if Tim jumped ship with SKR and hooked up with Tony Stewart?? There would have been total chaos (message boards) i.e. the 20 car has not done anything since Danny was in the car, the crew cheif don't care anymore, etc etc. (Not an attack against the 20 car) You don't find too many loyal people/athletes these days. Case in point look at these pro athletes leaving teams they have been playing for for years cause of big time free agent contracts. I may sound a little bit biased (since I'm a Tim Kaeding fan) but 15 wins in one of the best rides you can have in sprint car racing, is a little tough to walk away from. I give Tim props for his choice and rest asure when he has something lined up with no worries about a ride/sponsorship he's going to show up and starting winning races and even more people are going to be shocked!!! Go T.Kaeding/Hodnett
