I totally agree with you about some smaller teams being just as fast with smaller budgets the point I would make is the bigger budget teams well just wear a small team down as the season goes by.
there are alot of teams that are very competitive out there and knowing donny and his group personaly
you take good care of your equipment and it well return the favor where most teams may freshen up motor every 6-8 shows I would guess that shaver is rotating mills in the 15 less than half those shows same goes for other other parts
just because your name is kinser or earnhardt does not mean that you well be as good as your dad it does not hurt to expect that is just insane kraig and dale are great drivers but are not or well they ever reach those levels sory to burst your bubble

Your point is correct, hence the reason the 1z will not be running a full schedule driving all over the country, they know they can't keep up for 100 shows, but they can for 40-50, and I bet they do this year. I know the top teams in PA do not freshen motors more than every 8-10 shows, and after watching Schatz use 3 engines last year at the Grove I know none of our local teams would have done that. I don't blame them for that though, I'm just pointing out that Donny isn't buying wins or cheating to get them, he's good. Nobody roots against him harder then I do when he's in PA, but mainly because I know if a local beats him (and the rest), the party scene will be tip top behind the 3rd turn grandstand.

You don't need a motor claim rule
you need a 7 post shaker rig and wind tunnel claim rule
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!
