I can understand what  you  are saying but have you looked up the drug use and addiction that  singers and musicians have had in past?  Many have  cured the addiction and others have died.  Do you want your kids to listen to thier music.  I would explain to kids that he has been in alot of trouble with drug addiction in past and that you hope he is cured.  Tell them how bad drug addiction is.

For the love of God, will this ever end?

If u are a musician, and do drugs, good for u. . I have yet to see a 900 hp guitar get out of control at a concert.  What u do in privacy is your own business.

This is in my point of view that he no longer is addicted to drugs.  Your assumption is that he still is addicted to drugs.  Neither one of us know  so this is just a what if conversation.

Good luck to him if the rumor is true. Fearing he will become the face of sprint car racing and tarnish its pristine reputation is far-fetched. Tony did a far better job of that a few years ago When I had "C" level folks who never in my 28 year history of working where I do, ask about that "hot headed driver that killed a kid last week" when that happened. National news portrayed him as such and it stuck. Never before or since then have they asked about the sport they know I have an interest in. The world has become numb to forms of social media freakiness across many interests and professions. There are youtube videos of clergymen soliciting male prostitutes, Senator representing my very own county I live in caught masturbating live using the Gov laptop, etc. Debauchery and stupid drunken/high behavior is not new. Easy, cheap and constant chance of video capture and the ability for anyone to publish it is however very new...
