The stupidity is strong with this one.  First off it's you're not your, simple English.  I live in CO im not from CO.  I'll stick with PPV and my 5 trips back to the Midwest (where I'm from) for the time being.  Have a great summer!

Come on man, don't be ridiculous. We've been very lucky in Central PA to have tracks that for the most part, work together. Of course there's been minor issues over the years with scheduling and what not and that's to be expected when you have so many races in such a small area. Thankfully, these issues always got resolved without much of a problem and life went on as usual. Don't act like those people out there are dumb asses for having strong opinions about this. We've never seen anything like this happen in Central PA but you know damned well if Alan Kreitzer and Steve O'Neil had a pissing match like what we saw between Brennan and Quiring/Knoxville, the fans in Pa would be extremely passionate about which side they're on. In fact, I think by and large, the fans in PA would be far more engaged. Many of them lose their sanity over something stupid like the WoO coming to town. Could you imagine how it would be if we were at the center of an issue like this? No doubt, it would make this messageboard damned near unreadable. Cut them some slack.

Did you ever hear of Susquehanna Speedway?

Actually I'm sick and tired of hashing out the same old bullshit with you and a few others that persist on half truths and distorted facts. Think what you want to think and spew whatever you want. But be careful, your hero has crapped on all of you (us) and the drivers and teams before, by tentative scheduling, playing games, and by eliminating a full 2017 season. And he may not be done changing his mind and adjusting his "commitments", yet.  Just sayin'........

Name a half truth or a distorted fact that I have spewed, please. And I have never met Chuckie or said one word to him and I agree that he may not be done changing his mind. Also, in your case, I think your tired of hashing because someone put the truth in front of you and it goes against your train of thought. Oh well.......................................

Yes, however it has been so many years since Susquehanna has been a regular track for 410's (not counting those early Fisher years when it tried to run on Thursdays)  I think that falls into a different category.  I mean it had a significant period of time in the not too distant past (the Vicari years) that it was primarily a modified track which put it in competition with Grandview, Big DIamond, and Penn National (RIP).  However, if Susky started running 410's with a big purse regularly on Friday or Saturday nights, the Posse fans heads might explode.

I think the larger point he was trying to make was what would happen if WG, LIncoln, and Port Royal got into a real pissing match.  The area would go nuts  (the caveat being that geographically, they are all with 90 minutes to 2 hrs.  of one another) unlike Badlands, Knoxville, and Jackson....although distance can sometimes be relative and looked at differently in different parts of the country.

Knoxville is on the WoO schedule because there was basically a driver revolt years ago when Ted tried to get into a pissing contest with Capitani and Knoxville.   I can't speak to the Eldora format....however, when the WoO was actually faced with losing touring drivers over the fact that Knoxville wasn't on their schedule (big name touring drivers), they were the ones to blink in that game of chicken.

Obviously, the drivers weren't so vocal or indignant about the Gold Cup, because I didn't see any WoO drivers threatening to leave the tour because they weren't running Badlands.  It's all about who has the leverage, and in this case it wasn't Chuck.  THat's business and you can complain about it all you want, but Badlands overplayed their hand at a time when they were not in a position to dictate terms to WoO. A position that Knoxville had earned: they like having the WoO there, but they know their show will be successful and the drivers will show even if it is unsanctioned.

Ironically when it comes to cars, I think you could make the argument that you may lose some big names, but the Kings Royal might get the same or better car count without WoO's involvment if the purse remained the same.
