I still to this day really don't understand why we can't have 1 race at each track.

Sat- Lincoln

Sun- Path Valley

Mon- off day

Tues- Grandview

Wed- Hagerstown

Thurs- Susky (if they get their shit together)

Fri- Williams Grove

Sat- Port Royal

Sun- Selinsgrove

Someone please explain it to me.

Not trying to be diagreeable but making a few points:

1. What would you have Williams Grove do the Friday before the Lincpoln date?  Just not race that day?  That doesn't seem reasonable.

2. Giving Port and Lincoln a second date helps them by not losing a Satuday when the other is running a speedweek show.

3. Maybe I'm in the minority but I like the second shows at the "big three". While the variety is great lets support the tracks (during Speedweek) that support the 410s.

Port Royal announced their second date yesterday on their facebook page and the Lincoln & Williams Grove dates are on their schedules recently released.

Yeah I thought about too but I don't think it really matters. Run or don't run. The thing is they all race on their normal days. Lincoln and Path Sat and Sun. G-view and H-town don't race a weekly date so thats the norm for them. And WG, Port and Selinsgrove all on their regular days. There's gotta be some reason why these promoters can't (or won't) achieve this. And it pisses me off because you'd think PA would be able to do want ever they want because of the fan support each track would get. But Indy and Ohio have far more superior speedweeks than we do right now.

I think your right in what you say MR turn4guy . You see Ohio and Indy don't mess with there schedules as much , plus I think we have some greedy promoters or who don't listen to fans enough .I think when Pa Speedweek was aligned different you had even better racing , it was a little tougher to win the whole week and the crowds were even bigger but then the economy was better too .

This was mentioned somewhere before but what a lot don;t think about when they call the three 410 tracks greedy is that Port and Lincoln give up a Sat. of 410 racing during this. The Grove was going to be racing the first Friday anyway so; What does it hurt to pay a higher purse and call it a Speedweek show? Though they might make out well on a speedweek show Lincoln and Port have to deduct a weeks lost income from that. Then consider if they lose their one show to weather they are really in the hole for cooperating with Speedweek. And then there is the fact that if they did't run 410 weekly there wouldn't be enough of them around for anyone to have a 410 Speedweek.

Yeah I don't wanna hear about tracks losing a Sat night. Tracks go dark all the time for the WoO and now for Knoxville. And if they don't wanna go dark than run a LM show or something. There is absolutely no reason for this to happen in my opinion. I wonder what their reasons are. I can see Susky not getting one because they STILL suck at running a Sprint program, but 3 tracks running two shows is stupid.

I agree with you sir , no reason given why  Susquehanna does not have  a date ? They should have one this year .

The possible reasons have been stated on here numerous times. The main reason would be the stupid stunt they pulled last year by scheduling a show the day before speedweek was scheduled to start. For that reason, they don't deserve to have a show and unless they find a way to make it right, they probably won't get one in the future nor should they. Doing things like that comes with consequences. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Or is it that you just don't want to come to terms with it because you have already anointed Susky management?

Turn4guy is on point. Changes needed so PA Speedweek finds the spark again.

Many great points made by all but regardless who gets what/how many dates, the important part is that we get to see many nights' worth of 410 racing!

I think there may be too many races and no enough cars to run the week...Deitrich and Marks are signed up for travel team this year...there might be 7 or LESS cars that even bother to run all the races.

You got a point there. I don't think anyone misses that place. There aren't many tracks I refuse to go to but Big Diamond is one of them.

I understand why Lincoln wants the second race on the 3rd that being the night before the holiday but unless Grandview is using Wed for a rain date dont see why they woild have an open date in the middle.Still havent seen anything from Path Valley for the first Sunday or the Rahmer plans should have something at the Motorsports show.

Should be a good week with Starks and  Blaney hopefully some other outsiders will come in,unfortunateley Marks and BC will be missing.
