...BRR...

...it was great to see Dewease make his way out here...he had plenty of attention when he hit the track last Sunday at Attica...I was wishing more guys from both states would cross the border...hats off to Pete, Lance, and crew for adding to the week...

...hope your speed week is as fun as Ohio's was...we had great weather, strong car counts, and plenty of drama...Blaney created quite the buzz at Lima when he ran down Kenny Jacobs and gave himself a chance at a $64,000 payday at Eldora...

...Eldora update...Eldora haters have returned to under their rocks as their early season predictions of Eldora's fall from grace have left them looking foolish...Shane Stewart running the fence to come from 21st to 3rd in the finale proved the "Haudenschild line" is back !...not to mention the show Lynch Jr. and Kenny Jacobs put on until Jacobs broke...side by side racing and guys running the fence, can't wait for the Royal !...

...Attica, Eldora, and Limaland again prove to be the elite...great racing surfaces and professional, friendly staffs...

I'd have to say that Ohio's Speedweek is pretty good. I saw a show in 99 and 01. I wish I could make more.

I would have bet that Steve Smith Sr. would have been on that list. Thanks for posting.

cubic = what was Rahmer thinking? he all but flipped that car without any help!

gasit = those highlighted names flies in the face of the "vision" that Posse drivers don't travel and win...

glad you guys had a good speedweek with a close points race...last night we saw great battles for the lead and all the way thru the pack.

I never heard such cheering before when Rahmer crashed...lol.

most fitting was Montieth's car dressed in G-man colors...who better to carry the honor than the driver noted for the most familiar style.

PA Speedweek is okay, I prefer Ohio because of the greater competition. Then again, people in PA are so ethnocentric (a belief in or assumption of the superiority of your own social or cultural group) that it's really hard to get an intelligent conversation going without it turning into the typical moronic drivel that usually turns up on this board.

I strongly beleive this was one of the top 5 posts ever on this site. This guy hit the nail right on the head. I can't say that enough. ethnocentric? I've never seen a term that applied so much to one group of people.

glued to old news?

in the last 24 hours...NONE of the "top 3" were a factor at all...Lance crept into the top 5 in uneventful fashion...while Shepard's car would not fire after it stalled in hot laps. Montieth was the show, fell to 23rd on the start and popered back to finish a very impressive 2nd. Rahmer was running in the back of the pack as were several other outlaws asswhippers.

the FOAW have the same odds to cherrypick speedweek as they do the Allstars...sorry about your luck. for the folks who can't handle the stas on PA racing, read Allan Holland's article in the national magazine. if you disagree... file your miserable complaint with a letter to the editor. last time i checked, Allan received an annual award for his contribution to the racing scene.

tonight the battle begins and there is more concern in the veteran pits than ever before. for the folks that think our racing is not the toughest, ask them why they disagree with Kinser, Schatz, McCarl and others who have commented in print over the years...along with Shepard's comment last week that racing here is the toughest thing he has had to do in his life. i think he used to run with the WoO and pounded the Allstars a few times in parts unknown...not a fan of his, so maybe i am wrong about his accomplishments.

i don't think there is a lot of dispute of PA having the toughest local competition.......but some people ( like yourself) don't have to go around boasting it. People like you make the PA race scene look bad. Quit toting it like it's your 1st place pig and plant your ass in the seat and enjoy it.

Mike, not that it matters, but Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won three of six in Ohio Speedweek last year. As much as you say you want the PA versus the world debate to end, you're almost always the one that starts it up with posts designed just to bait people.

Look at the All-Star Tour through the Grove, Port Royal and Lincoln a couple weeks ago. The All-Stars didn't have a single car in the top 10 at the Grove and the people from PA didn't start any threads on here bashing the travelers. Compare that to the last time the Outlaws came to the Pennsylvania, when you started a thread calling for a Kleenex shipment to the Grove.

Thats BS........there were several degrading comments made about the all-stars recent trip to PA.

Other than some general results threads, I don't remember any cheap shot comments. I wrote that the All-Stars are not competitive in central PA and I base that on actually seeing the races, not writing from 1,000 miles away. I gave credit to the teams that traveled in to central PA to race that weekend, but only three travelers made the race at the Grove.

No offense to you, OKC, but you you seem rather obsessed with what is going on in PA. Three more posts in a thread talking about drivers you never see race at tracks you have never been to. That would be like me trying to look knowledgable in threads talking about ASCS racing in Oklahoma and Texas.

There was a derogatory remark made in the "what is a foaw" thread about the allstars based on a lack of knowledge of fact. It was the only one that comes to mind and I try to follow most topics concerning the allstars so take that as you may.........

yeah, coachbob bashed the FOAW in that thread...called them awol...and was trumped by the facts on race night.

OKC- add Hosehead himself to the "ethnocentric" fan list...you might want to get out and see a Posse race once in awhile if you want anyone to take your comments seriously.

Since we are dropin' names BRR, you're the one that made the asinine comment about the allstars without having your facts straight. You could have been civil and let it go but as usual your runnin' your suckhole.

the "awol" comment was made by coachbob well in advance of the scheduled races. othe FOAW pretty much laid that prediction to rest.

I wasn't talking about CoachBob and I wasn't talking about any comments made about the "FOAW". I was addressing the dash comment that you made in that thread. You said that only 1 allstar regular was qualified for the dash. Your intent was to demean the visiting drivers then when I called you out you didn't even have the balls to admit that you were wrong. What a joke. You and the canuck deserve one another.

Cubic, do us both a favor and look up the results for the last decade or so of PA Speedweek winners, the big three (hodnett, Freddie and Lance) I am pretty confident that you will find they dominated them drastically, might not be the near 90% Title deal but I bet it's a big number. One for one to start this year but it should be more even then in the past. The Big 3 don't have the big three car owners anymore so the playing field has NEVER been more equal, have fun and may it be as dry down there as it has been up here for the last two months. Take It Easy.....

PS It was nice to see Lance run OH Speedweek and I think the reality of his finishes speak volumes for those that leave the porch, on either side of the PA-OH border....
