Changes from the old games include: full 24 car starting field, real drivers and real tracks.

I would start the game off with racing in PA weekly, then progress to the All Star series and then move to WOO.

Include the top 24 WOO drivers from the past few years. Also include the top 24 PA drivers and top 24 All Star drivers. I would also include the top Knoxville & NorCal drivers when racing at those tracks. For the big events like Knoxville & Gold Cup, actually have 100 cars at the track .... Eldora and Willimas Groove, up the entry list to 50 cars. How fun would it be to race Knoxville and try to qualify for the Nationals against 100 other cars. That would be realistic and awesome!

The botom line is we need real drivers & tracks! If not, the game will suck just like the past two. I still play the old dirtbag game from time to time because of this.

Yes, a new engine will have to be made. I was talking about the past two junk sprint car games. PC games are still in a different world than consoles. I like playing games on the PC, but I still choose to do most of my gaming for racing on the PS3 or Xbox 360. Ratbag is not Big Ant. I thought the same thing but after poking around it appears like it is a completly different company than Ratbag, well on the surface. Who knows, maybe they took on some of their staff.

The next-gen consoles have enough power to make these games really in-depth. This is what I'd like to see.....

If the game has the WoO title, then we need WoO drivers and tracks, which appears to be the direction it's going. BTW....anyone notice the artwork is wrong on the splash page. Look at the cars in the background....backwards! Attention to detail kills me. I think it could expand beyond just the WoO though. Seeing how the game is focused on them though, then that's where my comments will head.

I say they need 30+ real race tracks in the game. Look at the NASCAR games, it's not unrealistic. You need all of the touring drivers. Every driver that made 95% of the races. Then we need some local stars from each race track. Once again, Gran Turismo and Forza 2 have huge car counts to select from....why can't we? Full fields of cars is a must. I'll take slightly less graphical quality for great physics and high car counts.

And yes, the big races should have car counts that reflect the real race ie; Knoxville Nats, Kings Royal, Gold Cup.......

Have an arcade mode so you can pick where you want to run and who you want to drive for/be.

Then different levels of simulation. The hardest being as close to the real thing as you can get. I say pick your home track and get a modest car with no spares to start with. Branch out with average tow costs and so forth. Eventually get good enough to get rides and so on. The on-line thing could be huge too. I'd like to see past racers for unlockable content. Have it go through the different incarnations of the sprint cars through the WoO years. Have old cars with Ferkel (sp?) Kinser, Swindell and so forth. Get to the next gen with Doty, Shuman. Have ten cars from each era or so. Then I'd like to see tracks that are no longer around or that they don't run on anymore like Syracuse. It's a pipe dream I know........but that's what I'd like to see.

i don't know if anybody has said this or not yet... but how about being able to control your car under caution and going green out of turn 4?? Not at the start finish line.

28xsprint....I agree with everything you say. I also want to see changing track conditions. Some nights a track is heavy, sometimes the same track is really dry. I want to be able to hook a car up to drive on the bottom if I can keep my tires on the groove. 360 has an older game out called "DIRT". The physics for that game on dirt, was pretty good, knowing sprints or taking the top off would be different. I want it so realistic that if I drive in the middle of the track where it is dry and slick I will get major tire spin. I felt on the the Rat Bag game the car handled too similar on every track. It seemed like the only difference was the degree of banking besides your car setup. I want to have the option to gain and lose rides. Work your way up through maybe a smaller time track to a bigger weekly track like Knoxville or out east, then get recruited to a local series then a national series. I play a lot of sports games so where you can hire great to bad coaches, recruiters, therapists etc,..this can be applied to hiring your racing team as well. Make wrecks looks believable, make sounds true and not like your listening on a 100lb console tv. Customizing or unlocking old paint schemes would be nice too, as previously stated. The main thing for me will be how the car handles vs the conditions of the track. I WANT TO SEE A DIRT TRACK RACING GAME CHANGE CONDITIONS OF THE TRACK. If a game can stick to the basics such as formats to the WOO and car entryies going into big races then everything else should with todays consoles should be icing on the cake. Heck I would even settle for the cars looking like the old RatBag game. I don't see other series getting on this. I would think this would cost more money for the creators of the game getting licensing agreements. Perhaps they would create another series on the game but would have generic title stamped on it. I Can not wait...I think I'm getting tha Racing Jones during the winter.

take the career mode features off of Sprint Cars Showdown at Eldora and make them slightly better and then get a new engine and make graphics, AI, cars, and realism better.

World of Outlaws sprint cars was the only reason I bought the ps2, if this game is better I am going to have to buy a ps3, its about time they quit wasting there time making junk games and put together a great one again.
