Hey come on Sparky's a good guy. He had shirts made back in either 2003 or 2004.
I can't remember if they were made up before or after he won the Tribute to Gary Patterson. That was probably the most feel good win I have ever witnessed in GSC history. You got to give it to the guy for holding off Blake Robertson and Brent Kaeding the last few laps.
Sparky drove spec sprints last year and in July he mentioned that he migth be running a winged sprint in 2007.

Hey, Sparky is a former Scarborough Trophy winner, joining such names as LeRoy Van Connett, Steve Kent (6 times), Johnny and Billy Anderson, a couple of guys named Kaeding (BKI and BKII), the immortal Mike Andreetta, the list goes on and on...
I remember a few years ago when Sparky was leading a NARC feature at Calistoga late in the race, and every time he came down the front stretch a HUGE roar would go up in the grandstand. Unfortunately, he had a muffler come off with a couple of laps to go, and had to pull it in.
Todays shirt: Hoserville, Ca signed by Ernie Seager of Fairbanks, Alaska...

Definite Cali trip on for this year.
Planning on Tulare for WoO in Feb, but that's still a little up in the air.
If not, I'm open to suggestions, but the other likely candidate is to follow WoO down to 'Stoga over Memorial Day...

Nobby we should hook up for that Tulare race; my plans are to be there again :)

Nobby, I think you have your holidays mixed up. WoO will be at Calistoga Labor Day weekend.
