If you are looking solely for best appearing car of all time as you said then to me hands down it is the TMC #1.

SLINK - U DA MAN! Just great stuff!
Was going to direct others to the Williams Grove Message Board - Racing in the past - for more of SLINK's great stuff (and others - Al Consoli for one) but apparently it's gone. Racing in the past was about all that was left the last time I was there.
Best appearing car? With all due to respect to ANY of Sammy's cars, to me the best appearing car is a circa-1984 mid-rail, hand lettered/numbered, with half the letters/numbers blasted off it.
First impressions are lasting impressions.
