my son was offered a 600 micro ride for Saturday at Greenwood Valley.
He lives in Jersey so he called them Friday to be sure and he specifically asked about the lockdown and their reply was "we are racing"
while driving up there Saturday morning they called him and said it would be practice only no fans
when he got there the word was other tracks got wind of them racing and ratted them out and the government enforcers threatened them with loss of their business license

First of all Trump could never be a dictator. He is way too lazy and not smart enough. Something we are lucky for. If he put a National plan in place maybe we would be racing by now but its too late at this point and this will just continue to drag on. In time of severe crisis he divided the states(country) not lived up to the title which is President of the United States. Love it when these people call others cowards when they are really the snowflake because they can't go to a race or get food at Red Lobster on time - find video on twitter - happened right in sprint car country - York, PA.

Don't need to watch the worthless video whether for the truth or against the truth. Actions speak louder than words. Dictator like Wolf need to be impeached! Dictators also can't admit when they are wrong again see wolf. He has been lying to us about everything when it comes Covid19. I have done a lot of research on covid19 and the WHO, CDC, and Fauci are all full of it. BTW Covid19 did come from a lab in Wuhan....how it got out is a good question to ask.
Selinsgrove should just race and tell the idiot governor from mt wolf to suck it up.
As for the Port.....I have seen a handfull of races since the middle of last year on speedshift. I only have one question.....will the cars be racing on the surface from their last race in March or will the have a new surface. I bet it is where they left off after the feature in March. They have paved that place they just didn't tell anyone yet.

Roaring knob is a joke. They had 20 cars in 5 divisions. They have zero fire protection, no ambulance, why anyone goes to the place is beyond belief. Wonce this virus is behind us and other tracks open in western pa

I am a PennDOT Certified blacktop technician. I will take sample of the surface and run some tests on it. I will get back to you on whether it is dirt or blacktop. PennDOT trusts my test results; will you?

According to their Facebook results, they did have about 60+ cars. Who cares. The bigger issue is their lack of safety equipment. I made reference to this in a post I made on the prior page. I heard rumor of it but didn't get it from what I consider to be a reliable source so I wasn't sure if it was true. I hoped it wasn't. It appears it is. No matter how you feel about racing or not racing during this time, there is absolutely no way I would support a race at this track either as a driver or a fan if they have no safety personnel. As a driver I would never put myself in that situation and I shouldn't have to inquire if there is medical personnel on site. It should be a given and no race should even be considered to be run without it. As a fan, I don't want to witness a driver having just crashed not receiving the benefit of quick medical treatment. My mind doesn't even want to go to thinking what could happen in the case of a fire. That said, I wouldn't be the one to push for state to intervene and shut them down. Not my place to do so but I would hope all would have enough sense to do that on their own.

Can we stop with the narrative that other tracks are ratting each other out. Every track promoter in the area, at least the bigger ones, are rooting for each other. This includes conference calls with ideas, thoughts and working together during this pandemic.
If one gets off the ground, it's an opening for everybody to get off the ground.
With that being said, 80% of the tracks are locked into PPV contracts and the way they are put together, racing in the yellow phase is not really feasible as the amount of money that would be lost would be overwhelming, so no fans, no racing. This is a fact and not an opionion.
Tracks like Selinsgrove could not only do it, but thrive doing it. As it would essentially create a large event that their schedule may have been lacking and breath much needed fresh air into the racing world in central pa during this time. The tracks like Greenwood and such racing micros....what threat do they pose to a large track running sprint cars. Not only could they also be successful with fans, but they could do it without fans as the high car counts would provide a profit because of low payouts for weekly go-cart and micro racing.
People contionuing to spread this rumor that one track tattled on another and wanted so and so shut down truly have no clue. If williams grove had selinsgrove shut down...essentuially creating a bigger target on the sport for going against the grain of the governor, it would only further delay williams grove getting racing in the long term due to reprecautions of defying him...come on guys, think about it.
