I remember back in the late 70's or early 80'0 there was a Luke Warmwater. I think this was Kenny Weld running under a differant name. Can someone help me on this one?

Don't know about kenny weld ,Jimmy Sills used that name at dirt cup 6 or 7 years could of been him.

my old man mentions a name from time to time (upper midwest) that sticks in my mind is "Harry the Horsethief" ,just a name tuff to forget, I was too young to know his story, anybody? Todd Mack was mentioned earlier ,who can forget, Sonny Mack, both strong cars up here in thier day.

Lee Brewer, a name that rings a bell, I think he held the track record at RRVS for a few years when I was a kid, Ironically sponsored buy MGD? I dont remember, I was pretty young (but interested, non the less)

Aaron Berryhill? where are they now?

That TMC car is binging back memories! I was so happy to open my locker door ! The F1 suspention car, wow!

Okay,

Being that this site should be renamed markkinserheads...wait that doesn't sound good... anyway...

I have been trying to think of the most random sprint car drivers that either: (a) toured with a major group; (b) participated in a major event; or (c) just had a damn funny name...

So, I am hoping the faithful on here can come up with some good laughs and come up with some names of people that will make you go: (a) I forgot about that guy; (b) who the heck was that guy...

Being an Ohio guy I offer: Van Gurley, Art Wendt, and Daniel Coggelshell (sp?) from the 90s ASCoCs and my all-time #1 favorite driver... RANDY FINK!!!

I am trying to spice up the old Lance Blevins, Andy Hillenburg, and Mark Kinser stories... please provide ridiculous stories as to where they are now...

like, the above four formed a late 90s boy-band called "Running in the Back" which performed nightly under the grandstands at the now-defunct New Bremen Speedway before a love triangle involving the daughter of Eldora's water truck operator caused the band to disband...

In the late 80's Jimmy Sills made a come back using the name Luke Warmwater from Hot Springs,Arkansas........ It might have been at Baylands in Fremont,Ca. The best race track still to this day,I understand there still has'nt been any developement on the site of track.
