What  ashame , such  a  talented  driver . I  saw Tyler  do things  most drivers  can't do in a race , this kid had no fear . Ask Donny Schatz  crew chief  about this  kid , he'll tell  you all about him.

Are you sure that you didnt mean to say, "what a shame, the world racing group could have avoided this by keeping the fans happy and listening to all of my ideas to fix sprint car racing."

You're welcome.

Spent some time with Tyler a few times, some great memories and 'winning' is right that boy could drive a sprint car.  Heck, most things Tyler did he was better that the rest of us at, comes from great stock too, his Dad is a blast, miss them both...Wendell, I have wondered whether you're just a dummy Posse fan or a photo dude who couldn't sell his stuff, hmmmm, lol.....or both.....

As far as being a Posse fan it is not a relavent question to the topic {but you have the brain waves of a ten year old so i'll forgive your stupidity}. To answer the question, yes I'm a PA fan and I'm also a fan of many of the greats from all over the country. There's no possible way that I could name them all, but obviously theres a ton of greats from all over the midwest, Indiana ,Ohio, Missouri, and certainly California including Tyler Walker { see, that's somthing that is relavent to the topic, try to follow along. take your time}. As far as the photography question I could ask you the same exact thing. I can only speak for myself though and I am more than willing to admit that I am not a profesional photographer and have never claimed to be one. I have never attempted to sell a photograph in my life. The only thing that I can say with %100 certainty is that my grandmother could take better photographs than Nelligan using a cell phone. Ohh my my.....Take it easy

tyler has always been emotional/passionate/out of control at times, and other times just a good dude who would take the time to just hang and bullshit. he has always had flareups....even when he was racing his dads car when he was what...17-18 years old. i have seen him loose it over something so stupid as his suit not fitting right......and punch the wing on his car on national TV.....drugs or not, i could (did) see him flip out at the grove. was he high? based on what i saw of him that night, i would say no. he IS a loose cannon and im sure a lot worse if he is cranked up.....with that being said, he broke the law and should pay the price.....and he has been popped a few times in one form or another....perhaps not broken the law but the fact that he was using reared its ugly head.

dont think i am defending him.....just trying to state my opinion. i know a lot of people that are into recreational drug use and a lot of people that drink on a very regular basis. i know a few that have caused injury and death while being fucked up. i know people that, after being total drunks for 20 years, got sober....junkies hooked on smack that cleaned up...cokeheads that cleaned up....and i would love to see tyler clean himself up, stay clean, and race again....but i am not too optimistic....just hopeful.

There is never any good excuse for that kind of behavior.    Looks to me like an old fashioned ass whoopin' and some time in the pen would probably do him a lot of good.

The arrest warrant was issue on Dec 2nd, over 10 days ago.  Has the arrest been made?  Or is he hidding out?

Was thinking the same thing.   Looks like he should have been hauled in by now.

Quoting this comment because it came up when I was searching for the video of Tyler Walker, when he crashed and punched his wing. I think it was on a TNN broadcast. I remember it when I was a kid but I can't find it anywhere. I was telling someone about it and wanted to show the video. Anyone got a link?

My opinion is this, if you never break the law by injesting illegal drugs you then can’t get hooked. All the facts are out there. Then when you are hooked and on the way to destroying your life, then the tax payers are called upon to try and get you unhooked. This whole sad process can be avoided by just saying no to drugs.

I think it happened during a prelim night to the Western World at Manzanita probably October of 1997 in the family Air-Sep #35 car. As you said, after flipping, he jumped out and punched the top wing, then tried to pull over some very large infield tractor tires but they were tethered to a wall. The interview was almost as entertaining. He tried to blame his crew because they built him a brand new car. He must not've liked the feel or something. lol.

I used to have he whole race on VHS but that's long gone. When he hit the national scene in 97' it was quite a show. I kinda miss him.
