Although the amount of people going to all of the shows is going to drop off this year because of Lincoln charging $20 to camp. I know of 4 campers with 2+ people each that aren't going to Lincoln because of that. ( 8 people X $20 = $160 compared to trying to make $80 extra isn't good business skills).

I don't know which is really crazier though, charging $20 for a campsite (with multiple people footing a piece of that),  or not going to a race because it'll cost an extra $20 for 3 or 4 people ($5 to $7 each) to spend the night and help offset the costs of cleanup etc for the grounds.

It's not crazy at all. Next year if they all start charging that will add an extra $200 to the week. So for now it's a protest against what they WILL be trying to do. I wasn't going to camp either , but now since we are racing I will be. It's just as easy to go somewhere and watch it for free than to hand them money for being greedy.

Also. The campers leave LESS trash than the car parking does.

I hear ya, but the day $7 keeps me from a race is a day I wouldn't be going to a race anyways because I would obviously need a cheaper hobby, that's probly just me though.  Good luck I hope the 8 folks missing the race shows them and they reconsider for the future

Well we all go to 50 - 60 races a year so missing a couple to prove a point I guess doesn't hurt. I know there are more than just those 8 , but I doubt they will be successful at being noticed.

Hopefully this results in less campers hogging up 19 spaces a piece in the lot for their cornhole games and whatever else they do so that the people who have shit to do and can't be at the track at 11am can still have a chance at finding a parking space if they arrive an hour before warm ups.

Port , Lincoln , Selinsgrove , and the Grove have the camping areas away from normal car parking. So your bitch is not legit.

It is if they run out of parking. Port usually doesn't now but not long ago they did. As far as they games go I don't care someone shows up at 8  in the morning and they play all day but at the time of the gates opening it is tme to put the games and canopies away and let the parking lot fill up.

I agree 100%. This should be common practice at all the tracks

Bitch , bitch , bitch !  But like I said , the problem is resolved at Port , Williams Grove , Lincoln, and Selinsgrove. I agree too . I don't see why they took up so much room either.
