Once again... you do not disappoint.  Your dr. Story was so funny.  I laughed and then I realized it was the first time today as this has been one of the most stressful In mY life.  I of course could not pull off rolling that story.  It would be so funny for me to even try saying that one.  Oh my!   But the point was made and you can not forget it.

During this covid thing I have not spent a single day in quarantine.  The longest spell I was at home was 48 hours.  And that was because I was just plain whooped!  I needed to rest.  I have been in airports.. hotels... gas stations etc ....etc .  In fact, I have eaten out almost every single day.  In my journeys .... I have encountered a lot of fear.

I have read your post that people unnecessarily sit by you at the races and that you and your friends joke about it.  Well now.... I also have many people gravitate to me that I do not know.  Because of my spiritual based core ... I feel that God  brought them there for a reason.  YOU never know ... what word of knowledge that you might share ... that God wants them to hear.  God knows what you know and God knows what they need to know.  And yes,  I know that you are not really into that religious thing. And I am ok with that.  But It makes me sad because an angel of God themselves might take that seat and you will have missed out.   Laughing them to scorn with your posse .  Just a thought...  not a condemnation... just a thought..  You never know when angels cross your path.  I think ... I mAy have messed up a few times myself.  Actually...I am quite sure of it.  A time comes to mind.  But hopefully next time I will be perfect.

I  will share the story of how bad... I myself was.  There was a man parked in front of my house off to the side. It’s a fairly large estate and  My house sits down a long lane  threw the trees.  Previously my home and my neighbors had been robbed and the police dogs trailed them to this very location.  Now I approached this man and asked why he was there.  With annoyance mind you.... and he said to me.  I sit hear every morning before I go to work and pray.  Oh my!  Now here is a man telling me that he looks over the property that God has Blessed me with and says his prayers starting his day... every day.  Now.... Was I nice to this one?  No... to my shame I was not.  I literally told him in my firmest... no nonsense tone...  to move it along.  I think I said something like you can pray while your driving  like everyone else.  I will be taking your license plate number because you are a suspicious person.  Oh Boy!  Ok I was a little short of perfect that day.

Great post T4. Everything happens for a reason.  What that reason is we will find out one day. I had a life changing exprience in 2010, it made me understand what is important and there is so much more in life to enjoy and we will not live forever, so enjoy life while you still walk the earth.

I also noticed that some people piss and moan on here. Not everyone. I don't need that kind of stress in my life. The majority of us watch sports to forget about daily life. Why must people drag all the politcal nonsense into everything. I enjoy reading racing articles, comments from all over this great country.

Sadly now Hoseheads has to be something else to not checkout anymore, right there with news, sports and regular tv in general. Thank you Flo racing, I can enjoy racing and don't get bombarded with political B.S.

JMHO

Good Luck to everybody.

Race tracks are plenty big enough, if you are worried about catching it outdoors you can find some place to socially distance.

So being that you use "anti maskers" and "old people" separately in your posts about the subject, I have one question for you.  How do you explain the, as you call them "old people", crowded all around us at Port on a weekly basis, sans masks???? They don't seem to fit your argument.  And believe me, there are quite a few that sit around us, no masks in sight.  Soo, just curious as you've clearly labed those of us who attend without a mask, the "anti maskers".  How very liberal of you to label all of us that go to the track, by the way.  Oh, and I'm double that "bulletproof" age you mention.

Thanks for verifying my point on why I won't attend races.  I will be 69 next month and manage a couple health risk factors common to the majority of people in my age group.  Your disregard for my concerns and turning them into a political insult confirms why I'm staying away from the tracks.  It's not about me, I am taking the necessary precautions but the concern is what others around me are doing.  I will be back when sanity returns and the threat of contracting something that might kill me just to watch a dirt track race has subsided.

Correct and as some doctors explained it, if they are standing facing you and you are both naked and they pee on your leg, then you get piss on your leg. If you are wearing pants but the doctor is not and they pee on your leg you still get piss on your leg, just a heavily reduced amount and the pants absorbed it. If both you are wearing pants and the doctor pees it just gets all over the doctor.

Everyone can take a little responsibility as you do not know where the person sitting around you at the track has been. Could have stopped at the gas station on the way and who knows who was in said station at that time or all day. Someone could have sneezed in their hand touched a surface and that person touched the same surface and they may have through accident not washed/sanitized their hands after. I think a majority of people are trying their best but we are all human and forgetful at times. A little extra precautions really are not that big of a deal.

If I crap my pants, you smell it. If you crap your pants, I smell it.

gov. wolf created a stir today by saying he thinks high school sports should be pushed to 2021.  his reason was to avoid anything that might cause a gathering.

i mentioned above i had called some people about what's been going on at the tracks.  my goal isn't to be the guy who gets them shut down.  i'm just curious why they're doing nothing about it.  a fair criticism of governor wolf is there's a lack of enforcement or consistency.  there was a sign up at kutztown last night that said masks were required.  the security people sitting right next to the sign weren't wearing any and i counted maybe 5 people wearing them.  it's almost a joke at this point.

They are going to give him three options, 1. hydroxychloriquine, z-pack and zinc  2. a glass of water  3. cyanide pill

I wonder which he will choose?

Not if you practice social distancing.

I'm half your age with no know medical conditions and I'm right there with you. The virus would more than likely show with very little to no symptoms for me. It still doesn't stop the fact that otherwise healthy individual have died or had their assesk kicked, there is still concern about this virus causing some level or organ damage and the biggest is people are just plain assholes. Have some damn compnassion and empathy for your fellow humans.

Actually I'm doing fine with two PPV channels so there isn't any need to attend races with that.  I've got a favorite Memorial race coming up that I'm contemplating attending next month.  The best way to keep my distance would be to dust off the camera equipment and spend the night in the infield taking photos for the personal collection.  That pretty much solves any social distancing issues and allows me to fart at will without anyone knowing.  wink

False alarm. This is common with quick tests for anything. The quick tests are geared to err on the safe side. After a positive result with quick test the more accurrate test which takes longer should b administered. It is the same with anitbiotic and other such tests in the food industry.

The problem with the quick (antigen) tests is not that they give false positives, it's that they're very inaccurate in general and give out a lot of false negatives too (meaning someone infected comes up negative). The development of a rapid test that has a very low rate of false negatives and can be self administered would be a game changer in getting back to normal.

You are a super hypocrite and everyone knows it now. You posted about a "chicanoline" van  about a week ago and you don't consider that to be offensive. Typical religious nutjob. Do as I say...Not as I do..

I already explained that I got the word "Chicanoline" from the Chicano who sold it to me. I loved that van!

I'm not religious. Its a nickname

No, it's not well said, at no rate will we pass 400,000 within one year. Math says, we need to average 1000+ deaths for the next 242 days. Not likely!

I'm not an epidemiologist, can't predict the exact number & neither can you. I like the general idea of that post

If muck is offensive, I propose we call them atypically moist, atypically dark, highly fertile, organic material people.  If we can't call what they plant and harvest in (muck) muck, let's call it that.

In my part of the world, there is quite a spike in cases.  But it is the youger crowd that is testing positive.  Most all of them are asympotmatic.  They're being tested becasue they want to, are having a procedure, or some reason other than they think they have covid.  And they surprisingly come back positive.  There is one person hospitlaized with covid (I doubt becasue of covid) in the 4 hospitals in my county today.  The rise in testing has parralelled the rise in cases.  No no one is getting sick and no one is dying though.

The rules here are 100 people max at outdoor gatherings as long as everyone not from the same household is six feet apart.  Some tracks are still closed, one is jumping through a ton of ridiculous hoops to race, and the rest are all systems normal, packing in thousands every night.  No social distancing and no masks.   There's a new executive directive today regarding enforcement of the orders.  Whitmer is tired of most agencies saying they will not enfore her orders.  So we'll see if anything changes.

Thats worse than offensive, its downright bigoted

"atypically dark"??? Guess what, Caucasians are a minority in the world

You're probably terrified by that fact...

This thing is serious and many people been sick or died from it. With said anyone who believes it has been the cause of death for 155,942 people is as far out in left field as the consiracy pushers are in right field. There is a differance between dying with it and dying of it.

Just great. Another medical expert on HH

If a person wears a mask and sanitizes regularly and takes care of THEMSELF,  then why do I need to wear a mask?  Again...if people make the CHOICE to protect themselves from the virus, why does it matter what others do?  Can somebody answer that question without copy and pasting a "statistical report" off the internet?

HOW many times do we have to explain this??? The mask is to protect OTHER PEOPLE

You really don't have to wear your seat belt and you can probably go as fast as you want. I don't care if you kill yourself but keep innocent people out of your path.

"I don't care if you kill yourself but keep innocent people out of your path"....Thats the whole idea of the mask!
