No doubt about it, the 69k team has their PA tracks dialed in. I had a get together here at the house Wed night and at about lap 14 or so I told the group that Dewease had the race won. I watched as close as any of us could and when there were shots of Lance wheeling the car, his arms were barely moving coming through the corners and the car was on a string. The car had very little rear tire slide and was driving as straight as a slot car. Regardless, it takes a skilled driver to feel that confident in a car, and to wheel it like Lance does. He does the same at Williams Grove. Lance rarley if ever spoils a good drive when he has a car under him capable of winning. Now, could the 69k team do the same thing on the road?(brace your selves) Yes I believe they could run up front consistantly. They would need to be dedicated to the road, have a matching budget to the top teams and remain patient enough for the experience to be there. Unfortuneatly that's why those reasons are why it won't happen. So POSSE fans should be proud when a local beats the Outlaws at home. Back in the day we had a few drivers that were doing the same thing at Husets, Jackson and Knoxville. Not happening these days. I may have shocked a few of you with this post Smile    But first of all I'm a sprint car fan and there's no denying what's happening with the 69k team and the Outlaws at the PA tracks. The Outlaws know going in they have to beat the 69k. I'd love to see the 69k team make the Nationals in Knoxville. And I'll go one better, they'd be one of the teams I'd be rooting for. Lance, Donnie and Davey Sr have dedicated their lives to sprint car racing. How could a real fan not root for them?!

Well said. I'm a 76er fan in basketball & hated Larry Bird until the day he retired. Then I loved him.... if you love hoops, you gotta love Bird

Respect where respect is due....

The threads like this just make me shake my head.  I know I shouldn't even bother reading them but I get sucked in.

Don't know anyone on the 69K team, but as an observer it looks like they have something pretty special going on.  Strong enough motor and obviously the right set ups, they have been able to win some big races, beat the WoO and consistently run up front in PA.  Haven't seen any proof that they are cheating to do so, at least no more than anyone else!  Give them some respect, they have earned it.

As far as getting off the porch, they can if they want to or they can stay right where they are.  Makes it a little tougher to argue that they are the best team out there since they are only running PA area races, but I haven't seen where anyone from the 69K team is claiming to be the best out there.  Personally I think they would struggle at Knoxville since they don't have the laps there like many others do, but they could surprise everyone.  Maybe we will find out if they get that Priority Aviation sponsorship and they can get time off work or whatever to get to Knoxville this year.

Enjoy racing more and argue less.

I’ll have to study my Posse logic handbook but does only 3 Posse in the top 10 tonight constitute an ass whooping?

My pick for tonight is still Lance, but Gravel and Pittman look fast and if Schatz can qualify he could be in the mix.

WOW!!! What part don't you get. WEEKEND WARRIORS vs full time PROS!! I think its awsome POSSE wins any of them. By the way , what other locals beat WOO across the country? And don't say ALL star guys, they not locals. Start naming them and # of wins. Most Posse guys can only afford to race one night a week anymore,

Grove is a full 2 seconds slower today. They all have to run on the same surface, but what gives?

Head to head showdown from the front row. The top gun from both groups of vigilantes, but will this settle anything in the Outlaw Posse feud?

No.

I know I'm trolling here but the 69k technically passed one car all night. I think he still wins it from deeper in the field and earned it going head to head with Donny but one technical pass?

Last night Gravel started on the pole of his heat, poll of the dash, and poll of tha A main. Pittman led first few laps but Gravel passed him. That’s 0 technical passes, but no comment last night?

Yea, but that one pass was awesome. I was here, thought Schatz had it won until they hit lapped traffic, & I told my friend, "Now it gets interesting" And it was. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Gio Scelzi was really impressve too, coming from the C to finish 7th in the A. & it was an absolutely beautiful nite, weather wise....full moon too

Looking forward to the next 4 or 5 races with some posse versus outlaws . I'll guess WoO 4 to 1 posse

Guess that prediction didn't work out

I'd just like to say that some of these comments are the best written comments I've ever read on here.  I'm no dewease fan but I can appreciate greatness when I see it.  I've been going to sprint car races since I could walk and cant ever remember seeing someone dominate like this...not even fred in his heyday could compare.

Kinser didn't start his downward slide until his 50s. Maybe Schatz should go get a checkup.

Exactly.  The same at Lincoln.  The outlaw starting positions are really screwed up.

Something that hasn't been mentioned at least not that I noticed for years was the CLASS of Lance Dewease.  Fewer drivers are more humble, easy going and all around friendly with the peeps.  It's been a long time since I saw a dozen or so races every year in PA but he was also so good with the fans, the media and anyone else in the pits.  Mr. Kreitz is a bit different and I do not know the superstar behind the wrench at all but these guys are full value for everything they earn and yes I also would like to see them trek out to Knoxville but c'est la vie.....

Class? Humble?  Only when he is the center of attention.  Smug, arrogant is more like it.

You don’t need to pass when your one of the fastest that night and lucky on the pill draw. That and Lance made Donny look like a rookie when it came to lap cars.

The challenge was laid down last night. Let’s get the 69k to Knoxville and we’ll see what happens on more neutral turf.

Funny, funny, funny. Let's count how many of steve kinser wins, Donnie Schatz wins, came from starting up front. The ONLY series that has ever did it right was the BB mods. Pull a pill and line em up baby. Anyhow, hats off to the 69k team. Schatz had NO ONE in front of him either, in fact, he didn't pass anyone in the feature. Lance won by over 2 seconds, mite as well call that as arsh whoopin. Your watching a dream team that will be talked about forever.

Does anyone know if Ricky warner was in the house during the eastern swing ?????
