Go ahead and sign that petition I am sure there are 50 of them going around in all 50 states and hundreds more going around all over the world depending on what part of the world you live in!  Even states run by followers of the cult are prolly signing petitions!!lol

from  State Rep John Hershey facebook page.Wolfe will be handing out kool aid this weekend if anybody is thirsty.

PA State Rep. John Hershey
3 hrs ·
Another disappointing display of a lack of transparency and consistency from the governor. For Juniata Valley racing fans, you will want to read this one. Thanks to PA State Rep. David Rowe for sharing this with me.

On Monday, 5/4, the administration via DCED and the State Police gave permission for Selinsgrove Speedway to race this Saturday. This was going to be a pay-per-view race with no fans in the stands. Drivers would be required to distance, and the track detailed their sanitation procedures to the administration. I was very hopeful, because this meant that as soon as Juniata County went to the governor’s “yellow” phase, Port Royal Speedway could begin racing as well.

Yesterday, 5/7, the governor revoked his permission for Selinsgrove to race without giving further reasons. DCED also JUST updated their guidance on 5/7 to include “racetracks” on their list of prohibited activities.

This should shock anyone looking for their governor to be more transparent, regardless of party.

It may not be much consolation for those that like to complain about everything, but I doubt this race was going to happen anyway given the weather outlook.

No matter where you stand on the issue there was a Sunday raindate and the forecast for Sunday is pretty good.

So that means that those teams MAY be arriving around 5-6 pm Saturday if they leave by 12pm Knoxville, but will lose an 1 hour of time. Good Luck to that tiresome trip.

12 PM is Noon. Leave Iowa at noon and they will not be in Pa by 5 or 6 PM!

So trying to interpret what I read online from afar, it looks like the Weikert will also be in jeopardy.  It looks the red status has been extended til June 4, except for 24 counties.  None of which are Juniata.  So does that mean Port Royal can't run either?

The Weikert is toast unless resheduled until the sheep come out of hiding.

Some counties are declaring themselves open without governor wolf's permission...see dauphin and lebonan counties.  To bad Williamsgrove isn't in one of those countries.

Leave Iowa 12pm and make Selinsgrove by 5 pm, hummmmm.  I want to see how Sweden comes out of this mess, last I heard they are fully open for business and plan to stay that way. The body needs to build immunities. Hiding in a house is not helping when this returns in the fall.

It was to be AM, but you knew what I meant! You are on this board enough to know the difference. Don't matter now.

Heard today that someone on the Juniata County fairboard complained to the governors office about Selinsgrove being allowed to race while and that's why it was stopped. Petty stuff, my track can't race so I'm going to see to it that others can't either.

Calling the Governor an idiot & saying he should be impeached is DEFINITELY politics, right or wrong

I'm not surprised.... you can't even admit a simple fact like that. Go back to whining about Port Royal. or even better,  just shut up

What likely happened was somebody said somebody on the Juniata County Fairboard probably complained and then the next person said somebody did complain and that is who you heard the story from.

Agree 100% longtime, because Selinsgrove getting things rolling on a racing program could only benefit Port and other tracks.  Once one would open and have a successful race, then the other tracks could use that as an argument to race as well.  Highly doubt anyone from JC or Port said anything.  But rumors and speculation are fun, right.
