just celebrating a victory for an underdog in terms of big $ teams who came up short...and taking a few liberties along the way. Tim is one of the coolest guys to chat with in the pits!

I bet the crowd went nuts when Schatz lost the lead and the race after inheriting the lead on Sammy misfortune...I remember the Kville crowd being EVEN MORE VOCAL in their disdain for Schatz than the crowd on Posse Soil.

6th, 10th and 11th... Pittman said at the HoF on Friday in an interview that he feels like he is Posse. Stevie runs 95% of his races in PA and resides in New Oxford, PA. Shaffer is an All-Star, it's amazing how everyone freaks out when either BRR or Cubic start a post. It really is pretty fun watching the haters.

Yet both Pittman and Smith claim OK has home... along with Shane Stewart... perhaps OK has a dog in the fight! Smile

Posse seems to be like the minor leagues; if you can't hack it in WoO then stick around PA. wink But Posse is certainly AAA and best of the minor leagues.

Since Fred and Lance HAVE beat the Outlaws this year I would consider them along with Hodnett the MAIN Posse drivers and it's been that way for the first two for almost two decades. As per usual Drak you ain't got a clue or you're getting your info from a more clueless unnamed source, lol. When your area finally produces another racer that can actually beat the Outlaws somewhere other than the Grove, I and the rest of the world will finally give your area some due. It's been a long time since the Great G-Man surfaced and that's a pretty long dry spell for an area who thinks they are better than everybody else but in reality, just aren't. The Grove itself deserves the vast majority of credit, always has. Typed by a very content Canadian, a little disappointed for Sammy, no make that, very disappointed for my guy Sammy. Life is quite good, Take It Easy....

Things have changed a lot in PA thge last few years and you can't see it sitting on the porch in Canada. There are more competitive cars than ever and Fred, Lance and Greg don't dominate every week like they used too. Just a few weeks ago Brian Montieth started 17th and passed all 3 to win the feature at the Grove. You want good young drivers? Brent Marks, Danny Dietrich and Aaron Ott have won multiple 410 features this year. You probably never heard of any of them. BTW Chad Layton has also beat the WOO this year. Ever heard of him? Homefield advantage is a valid point, but you know as well as anybody that if the top 20 teams in central PA raced at Knoxville instead, they would have had at least 10 cars in the A. I would say a road trip is in order but you've probably burnt your bridges here.

I'm going to disagree a little. I don't think that 10 teams would make it. Out of the drivers that didn't go. Layton could make a run since he has 1 stout motor, same with Alan Krimes. Dietrich would be all over the gas . If all 3 of those guys...1 might make the feature, more with good pilldraw however. Leppo would TT well but wouldn't really much of a factor after that. We sent out 6 drivers this weekend. We put 2 in the D, 1 in the B and 3 in the A. That's pretty respectable for off the porch.

I meant if our guys raced there weekly and were familiar with the track.

You guys can argue and call him whatever you want. For those of us fortunate enough to know Tim we call him "friend", and that is pretty awesome for us regardless of the level of success he achieves. I will always remember Tim placing a memorial to Don Martin on the front wing of his family owned #45 after Don died. Tim Shaffer is one of the most personable drivers ever to hail from Western Pa and the latest in a long line of drivers who have gone on to do great things in racing. Congratulations Tim on your win!!
