From everything that has been written and said it appears that he is going to be allowed to still race sprint cars which was the main concern from a lot of people. I am sure it will be far less than he did this year and most likely around the same amount that he ran when he was with Ganassi. Hendrick basically said that Larson loves racing sprint cars and he feels it gives him an edge. But if he gets hurt, its on him. Seems fair and reasonable to me. I think they put up a stat a few years ago showing Larson's avg finish after competing in Sprint Car races and it was around 4th I think with 2-3wins.
