Ill say it again. Pittman is racing a sprintcar at over 100mph with that requires very high concentration with high adrenaline levels with millisecond reaction times. I would bet it did not register it was brad and that he was lapping untill he was going back by. What should he do? Stab the brakes? To think about the situation at hand is just not the way the mind works while racing at over 100mph. Its obvious when brad passed in the same spot the lap he backed out. Now if he would have passed back a second time, not good at all.

You are probably correct. It was frustrating to watch, but he may not have known.
As for someone saying he should be fired if he didn't race Brad back-----that's just silly. If I owned a car that was running down the leader of the King's Royal (or any other race for that matter), and I owned a car that was a lapper, and the driver of my lapper knowingly raced the 2nd place driver, there would be a problem.

Completely agree egras. Its a results driven business and this was a decent paying race.
