Just talked to a guy yesterday, Kraig will be in Florida and they are just going to kind of feel things out. I don;t believe Artic Cat is on the car. I think we could see him kind of go where the money is and depending on who's willing to fund things. I think there is a chance we see him run Ohio Speedweek, PA Speedweek and a few things like that as well

Chevy dealers wont have Ford Performance parts. Maybe the redneck wash boy will have an old Ford Racing catalog from 10 or 15 years ago with SC1 heads that would also do just fine but are deemed too exoctic for profesional World of OUTLAWS sprint car racing.

Whatever it is that you are smoking, please put it down.......................now.

Guys, no Ford for Donny this year.
|
Thanks
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Schatz / TSR partners with ARCTIC CAT...as I guessed. Man I eagle-eyed the crap out of those snippets of graphics...and now it seems like shameless self gloating that I was right...which it's not...I'm just saying.

Where they dropped the ball (kind of) is releasing a rednering of the car instead of you know a high-res photo shoot quality picture of the actual car. They teased with snippets of the graphics (tail tank, side panels, etc.) but then on the official release include an artist rendering. I'm sure they have the cars done and by chance they do not then a) make sure you do for a photoshoot (we'e close to Florida) or b) delay the release until you do. I'm nitpicking of course.

Who really gives 2 shits? This is a business to them. They can do whatever they want whenever and however they feel it will fit for them the best. Feel free to give them a call and get them squared away with how they should do it in the future. I'm sure with just a little bit or research you should be able to track down a phone number.

The D3 stuff right out of the Ford Performance catalog at your local Ford or Lincoln dealer is the most durable, drivable and dominant peice in all of dirt track racing but sprint car officials have a fetish with average mediocrity and wont allow it. Very very sad for the sport.

When you read the Speed Sport News article, Donny puts it like it is. Essentially, he's not running the Ford until he feels comfortable running it to his expectations. I don't see him putting that Ford in until he feels its the same or better than his current motor package.

Totally disagree, all of that is a factor. Engines, chassis, shocks...it all matters. And it all matters in relation to how Donny drives.
Donny Schatz will not jeopardize his dominance for a logo on a wing or motor
Reliability is by far the biggest worry going to a new motor package and Donny doesn't have too many DNF's
|
Reliability won't be an issue by the time Schatz is running them. He will be the champion regardless of what's under the hood.
