What a joke! Sprinkling a little water before BOSS feature! And they must have exhausted the firework budget....none tonight!

That BOSS feature was worth every penny. How is this series so successful? Purses seem low but they get more than enough cars for their events. Oh, and at least they scratched up the top to provide something to grab on to before each of the features. The 410 race wasn't bad. Cap Henry from 19th to 4th and Blaney and Kemenah caught Rico and made it interesting from a long way back. Sammy was a no show.

BOSS does not have a tire rule. You can run whatever you want. They are true outlaws with most of their rules. That helps keep cost down.

They also support all drivers. It is not a top heavy purse. Also, a lot of teams will come run BOSS because the lower purse means the usac type teams with big backings dont show up. He also has contingencies and other money he gives out.

The final thing he has said often is he is very picky about which tracks he books which is uncommon for a newer series. Drivers love that they can run respected tracks like Eldora, Fremont and Indiana tracks without running against usac drivers and paying high fees and tire cost.

Dry, dry, dry slick.  First heat winner during his interview, "it's dry slick not much to grab out there", only 20 more races left, arghhhh...hope it's not gonna be brutal but am already anticipating such.....

I was there and it was pretty dry and slick but I felt the racing was pretty good overall. I was a little disappointed that you didn't get the wicked fast speeds that Eldora normally produces as lap times during qualifying were in the mid 14 second bracket for the 410s but the racing made up for it. Plenty of passing, watched Cap Henry, Reutzel, and Holtgraver move up from the field plus a lot of guys were racing each other close. Finish for the All Stars was close and lap traffic made things interesting there for a while.

The Boss feature was awesome as the top 4-5 drivers put on a show. Took the bitter with the sweet. Yeah it was dry slick and the speeds were down but racing was good. I didnt mind not seeing Fireworks as those do not do a lot for me usually. It was very nice laid back night and the show kept moving along. I think with the way 4crown went they were trying to keep moving things as fast as possible and did not want to take the chance with doing too much prep. Still one of my top favorite events each year.

I was there but left after the 410 feature when I saw it took rubber. I watched race monitor on the way home and saw reautzel's best lap was .7 faster than rico's best

Reautzel was basically in a league all of his own in the 360 race. No one could come close to him and he did it with have of the hood missing and it flopping in the wind. I think  he was basically a half track ahead of second. I watched it down in the infield so i could not tell if there was a lot of passing. Hannigan crashed out so he was probably the only other person that could probably touch Reautzel. The Boss feature was pretty good and probably the best one of the night. Went back to the main grandstands to watch it. Dallas Hewitt led 25-26laps I think and then Windom took the lead. Windom, T-Mez, and Smith were all swapping 2nd-4th most of the feature and were within striking distance of Hewitt. One would get close but never could get around then another one would take second. Felt the racing all in all was pretty good the whole night. Not typical Eldora speed, but the close competition made up for it.
