LOL. I can confirm with 100% certainty we do not make xxx boat parts
Capt. Phil was at Skagit Speedway for the Kasey Kahne Foundation benefit race late last august, and we gave him a t-shirt. Happy coincidence that he wore it on TV.

racing is racing, business is business, money is money. Loyalty ? Even the cave man went to Geico. Car owners are always looking for an edge and if possible how to do it and save some $$$. Sponsors come and go and loyalty has NOTHING to do with it. Guess I missed it when Lazoski married Eagle. To compare this to Kinser is ridiculous. When you win the majority of main events over 20 years you don't make big changes.

The cave man choose geico because the did not know any better. I do not see dennis roth caring what chassis danny is using as long as they are winning. But brandon did win in a eagle at the dirt cup.

True. Brandon did win dirt cup in an Eagle. But, I think everyone will agree, he was not the fastest car on the track. That would be Travis Rutz.

Do not wave the American Flag then sell over-seas parts. If a manufacturer is going to talk the talk they should walk the walk.
|
So, quit talking and REALLY walk the walk........ You're still selling Winters parts and Simpson gear, aren't you!!!!
|
Its funny to read people complaining about chinese made parts knowing full well they are typing on their chinese made computer, wearing clothes made in taiwan, sitting at a desk made in thailand, buying food from Wal-Mart the biggest china profiteer, and their government is financing their misled aims with borrowed money from china
We are all sprint car people in the end we should turn our hostility toward the real problem our politicans and be thankful that we have a sport that is still affordable to attend

Excellent point made here. For those of you who continue to live under a rock, China is here, has been for years. Wake up! Business is business folks, if a racer or manufacturer can build it, buy it and sell it cheaper, they will do it. Heck, most people I know use that philosophy. Terry McCarl runs an Eagle chassis and that is fine with me. Interestingly enough, his major sponsor is a company who sells product that is almost all, if not all made in China and that is also fine with me. It does not always matter where in the world anything is made. Just because some manufacturing jobs are shifting over seas, does not mean we are in a crisis. You people need to open you eyes and realize over seas manufacturing also creates jobs in the US too. Higher skilled jobs, like managment or computer aided jobs. China can make quality parts, if they are trained correctly. Yes, there is plenty of crap they make too, but that stuff probably comes from factories where the people are not trained. More power to anybody who brings in quality parts from where ever at a lower cost. Excuse me, I have to go feed my dog some quality Chinese dog food now. Whoops! Did I just say that?

Maybe he's not 100% ready to trust his life to the Chinese!
|
Maybe not, but Zach Chappell has done a lot of "crash testing" the XXX chassis with no problems....

All this bashing of Lasoski for trying another brand is as funny as, seeing he has run other brands before, seemingly unnoticed!! I think you will find that the 360 car that he owns is not an Eagle either. Shock horror!!!!!!!! I am pretty sure you will find that particular car is infact a 'Cool' Chassis from Australia.

i do not think it is bashing. I think people just wonder why lasoski would switch chassis. But whatever lasoski does he has to live with is the way i see. It is not my decision.

Maybe he just got tired of being ignored by Eagle. I have two Eagles, a 2002 and a 2006. After buying the 2006, I wish I could get rid of it and buy a Maxim or JEI car, because they still listen to the drivers and build a car like I want. Eagles prices are ridiculous also. I love the 2002 car, which is not one of the widebody car that Eagle now mass-produces in a Ford Model T fashion. As long as Eagle doesn't listen to its drivers, I will NEVER buy an Eagle again. My 2006 car is a pile of crap, and it sits idle while I drive my 2002, which has been bent in a wreck, that was built before the mass-production, profits-are-the-only-things-that-matters, to-hell-about-the-drivers days at Eagle Chassis. Give me a JEI, Maxim, or Schnee chassis, to hell with Eagle.

Ya know Wertz, it's not often that most people agree with you, but I've got to believe this is one of those cases!
