a wise man once told me when i went bragging about winning 4 trouphy dashes in a row that anybody can win on a tacky track but it takes a real driver to win on dry slick. Mike Spievy

Hey Sprint Car Rob I wasn't mad either. You have a right to state your opinion and I was just giving you my opinion from a car owners viewpoint. Just got back from Jeff's Performance and hopefully our motor wasn't as bad as I thought but who knows until they tear into it. Thanks for coming and watching the races and hope that you keep coming no matter how the track is

We were there two weeks ago and the track was very heavy and pretty narrow in 3 and 4. If they start keeping in slick we will be there a lot the rest of the year. Lupe almost double the mod car count and i think it was becasue of the way he was keeping the track weekly.

We race at Lawton regularly and pull from Ardmore weekly. I think you should travel to some of the other tracks in the area. We raced at Ada on 5/29, the car count was low and we came home with sand in places you wouldn't believe and raced at Ardmore on 5/30 with a low count in some classes and it got dry as well. Everytime I go to a dirt track I take with me a pair of clear safty glasses because I suspect if I don't I could get dust in my eyes.We prefer a dry track because as someone else said, any one can drive on a tacky track but it takes a real driver to win on a dry one. By the way, the Factory Stock that ran 2nd at Lawton last Sat. is actually a Hobby Stock with 76cc heads, a quadrajet, a torque converter and had the wrong gear for the track. He almost won that race because he can drive on a dry track.

Well if a low compression, factory carbuerated, torque converter driven , wrong gear Hobby Stock can run 2nd with the Factory Stocks that sort of says that the track must have been REALLY screwed up!
