I am pretty sure who I know who the new driver and crew chief will be. Unlike some posters on this board who feel it is their right to spread rumors, I am not in that camp. It is up to the teams to announce it when they are ready. The original question on this thread was whether the Trone team would race in 2020 and the anwser is YES....that being said if what I am hearing is true, the driver is a future Hall of Famer and the crew chief a local legend.

The original question was who is replacing Haas. A lot of typing for nothing.

Certainly wouldn't have guessed Cale Thomas but it's cool. Be interesting to see how he does with the team.

Big Express was that one of the other names you were hearing certainly not a hall of famer a still discussing a mech. seems like Trone surprised most of us ( but any outsider coming to Pa. is a good surprise).
Maybe Tim will get back in the #1 he ran at the end of the year or work something out with the Mackissons to good a driver not to have a seat.
What is the All Star count right now lloks like they have lost at least three cars from the last few years.
THE 70 AND 70X THE 49X THE7C AND alot of the Ohio guys that ran in the last few years.

No..... although Cale was mentioned as a possible driver along with a few other "out of town" young guns, this announcement was somewhat of a surprise. So much for my sources, which had Tim as the new driver. I guess an agreement could not be worked out. It will interesting to see how Cale adopts to running tracks he has never seen before...neat to have some new blood running with the Posse in 2020.

Wrong, he is starting off in the Bryan Grove 28 car at EastBay. Pete still has Justin Peck for this year, and as of now is only running a one car team.
