Spell check bit again.

New game- Try to figure out what Stan is tryWing to say. Do you have spellczeck, or is it just that other voice in your head?

I doubt if you'll see much over 30 cars with Park Jefferson and Knoxville running 360's. They will take a few cars away. I also heard that Casey Hasser isn't interested in racing this year. Greg Baker may not have a motor. But 30 cars will be a heck of a good show at Fairmont as long as they prep the track right. I will probably have to pass as the bank account is down to nothing due to my wife having a brain tumor and not working. So will have to miss most of the races this summer. GM

#24 & #51 on the list should be pretty equal as far as lap times.
|
Neither one of them showed up. That guy had a 2 in 51 shot in winning according to that list.

i'm not really sure what's going on with the umss. first they dropped the points fund from their series, then they started banning drivers, not to mention that they dropped their micro sprint series, and now well there just isn't anyone willing to follow the series (can we even call it that anymore with no points fund?). It's a really weird deal when you see that the traditional sprint group is thriving while the winged sprints are withering away to nothing. It was pretty disappointing to see that JR jr. retired too. Sadly, I feel that this group has ran it's course and will be gone by next year. Even if you look at the followers so far this year Cedar lake only had like 5 regulars of the umss to show up and fairmont...idk maybe 2 or 3? I really am going to be shocked if they get more than 6 winged sprints at Proctor and Hibbing and that's with drivers that don't follow the group.

I didn't know JR retired. Heck I remember him driving that blue 81 car at Jackson when I was a kid. I see the UMSS is on the card for the Jackson Nats, guessing it's for the wing division which from the sound of it won't help car counts too much. If the UMSS doesn't have a point fund what's the point of following it? Do they pay tow money?

I'll never say anything negative about the UMSS after helping out when they were first getting the deal off the ground. My intent was to comment on the 50 car list and the liklihood of that happening. Obviously the UMSS wasn't the reason for the car count being what it was as even a full compliment of their drivers wouldn't have boosted those numbers a huge amount.
They're admittedly going in the wrong direction and though familiar with the challenges I'm not up on the current circumstances. I decided to put the 2017 racing season on the back burner and take care of some other things before I retire. I'm certain that they'll be alright at the bigger shows where they're combined with other series and nobody is depending on the UMSS to field all the cars. The tough part will be at their stand alone shows that are not combined with other 360 seriees and not connected to other events where they're supporting the 410's.
I don't have a dog in this dirt tracking fight anymore so don't quote me or place much importance on my opinions. I'm just following dirt track racing online and will get my camera thrills by shooting a few Street Rod and Rat Rod shows this summer. Whenever the conversation turns to UMSS that's kind of in my territory so I weigh in on it.
