Ya the competition he faced and has faced in Indiana is real weak......
Well with all the post hear about "Kyle the Ledgen" the last few day, the jackholes are you!!!!! everyone thinks he is wonderful. The kid has skills. is he a Ledgen!! I don't think soo. Maybe nascar came calling because Mom & Dad have money????? I don't know. I do know this!! No one will come to Central PA and have races handed to them. Bottom line The reason Central Pa competition is so tough is because of the handicaping system in place hear, It forces every team to step up every week!!!! We don't start our fast guys up front in Central Pa!!! They start in the pack, where they have to earn the win!!!! Not 1st, 2nd 3rd...... and run away and hide from everyone like the traveling circuses do!!!!
|
How did the Ohio Speedweek work out for the couple Central Pa. teams that had the testicular fortitude to leave the porch??? They sure didn't set the sprint car world on fire in Ohio.......

yeah because being average at best and winning from the pole with a handicap system is earning the win. And what the hell is a ledgen? Is that some type of bird or something?

How many times do people have to post on here about the fact that Kyle's mom and dad don't have money. Nascar came calling because let's see, last year Kyle became the first person ever to win a race in the World of Outlaws, ASCS National, USAC National Sprints, USAC National Midgets, USAC Silver Crown, and USAC CRA Sprints all in the same year. And won 22 races between winged sprints, wingless sprints, midgets and silver crown cars at 19. Won on both dirt and pavement, swept the 4-crown nationals usac races adding himself to a list that includes only himself and Jack Hewitt, and as a rookie in usac won 4 usac midget races (not counting the 2 wins at the non-sanctioned belleville midget nationals), 2 usac national sprint races, 1 usac cra race, and two silver crown races.

I have to agree, kyle may be a good driver everywhere else except Central PA!! From what I saw in time trials, heat race, he would have been a top 20 car tonight!!! Just way to much competition in Central Pa for him to be a factor!!! I do feel if he would spend more time hear, he might do better!!!
|
Yep, Kyle sucks! Gotta love myopic Possie fan! The whole sprint car world revolves around Central PA. Everyone else better give up! Your all such arogant asses!

You guys crack me up . I go to alot of PA tracks Lincoln, the Grove , Port and others . I think there are good drivers all over the country , Out in Ca. you got Mike Spencer, Nick Faas , and others , in the midwest you got Jerry Coons jr, Levi Jones , Just to name a few and we have the posse guys hear in PA . Yea we got good racing hear in PA but so do other parts of the country . Just go and look at some youtube videos . Man those wingless guys put on a show . but the same can be said about the Posse tracks . I JUST LOVE SPRINT CARS be it winged or non winged . and on any given night anyone can win anywere . there are good cars and good drivers on the east and the west and in between .

Glad a few keyboard jockeys are your entire representation of the Pennsylvania crowd...Head out there sometime and maybe your opinion will change.

Bottom line is this kid is a hell of a race car driver and I'm starting to think his fans are his worst enemy. You don't come on this board and try and commend anyone for being good or even suggest that they are as good better than a certain series without getting your parade rained on. I wish the kid the best and hope he stays with us Sprint Car folks instead of going to NASCRAP.

I`m from Pa. (western, not far from Lernerville) So I`ve been there and done that at the cental Pa tracks. I moved out west 25 yrs ago and found out there is great racing all over this country. Not just the huge 1/2 mi. tracks like you have. The few keyboad jockeys sure make the rest of you seem like sprint car snobs. Open your mind to the thought that good talent could come from anywhere, and good racing can come from 360`s , nonwing and pavement as well. There is life outside Pa. , I`ve seen it! (and better roads too)

No, your probably thinking of Tony winning the sprint, midget and silver crown championships in the same year, which they call the triple crown.

Go to Lincoln every week I'm home. Just got back from Ohio Speedweek, headed back home to CA for the ASCS National invasion and will head to Nationals in August. I've seen the life outside PA as well.
Every place has their fans that get all hyped up for their own locals.

The kid had a bad night...happens to everyone. I expect he'll do better in upcoming shows.
Kudos to Barry Jackson, Fast Freddie, and T-dub for pitching in and helping to get the car fixed for the B. Thought that showed good sportsman ship!!

and speaking of Fast Freddie...IMO the best battle of the night was for 5th between Krimes, Rahmer, Pittman, and Dietrich...real intense!! Swopping positions almost every turn.
