In Pa, there are a few regulars who elect not to race when the WoO comes to town, but for the most part, it is just the opposite and the Pa posse drivers usually surport the WoO races in pretty good numbers.

Face it the IRA regulars are working class guys not full time racers. I think many of them take the weekend off to regroup and not take the risk of getting torn up before a two day weekend at Elko next week. Beaver Dam had 30 cars in the pits which I think is about perfect for a show and sounds like it was a good show. Personally I skipped the show to make it a weekend with the family since there was no IRA shows scheduled. If the family is not happy no one is! LOL Off to Elko next week.

Was a little worried when the track was dry and slick already during hotlaps on Saturday night, but with some extra track prep by the crew at Beaver Dam Raceway, it was good for the heats and dash, and near perfect for the feature. Good lane right around the bottom and a nice heavy cushion a few feet from the wall. It always amazes me how close the Outlaw guys run with each other and how precise they can be with their cars. Watching Saldana ride the cushion to the front with Dollansky in tow around the top and bottom was extremely entertaining. Lots of great action involving the top 10 cars throughout the race. Was glad to see Bill Rose and Kraig Kinser walk away from what was a VERY nasty wreck on the backstretch. Nice job by all the local teams that showed too. I think fans definitely got their moneys worth on Saturday night.

Great show. One of the best I've ever seen. Watching Saldana and Dollansky was very entertaining.

Last night was a great show to watch. Glad to see Rose and Kinser walk away. Mini sprints and Legends put on a good show as well. I understand why some of the IRA guys do not run with them. They need a weekend off to spend with family and regroup there teams. WOO please come back to Little Beaver soon.

That was right around when I first started racing which would have been around 1992. Personally I hated Hales Corners. That place tore alot of cars up and was always slick as hell. Jerry Olsen ran the, WOO shows in those days in The Wisconsin area.

I'm not talking bad about the 17b of Billy Balog but I think he had planned to run both shows with the Outlaws. I think with the way he runs with the ira I was interested to see how he would do with the Outlaws. Was he not planning to run with the Outlaws or did something happen to him? WOW the Outlaws don't like running beaver dam, I like seeing them run beaver dam and hope they continue to keep coming back tho!

Balog ran Cedar Lake with the Outlaws and got in a crash. Because of that it is why he was not there.

What makes you say that the WoO doesn't like Beaver Dam?
As far as the car counts of the old Hales Corners WoO days go, I'm pretty sure they used to make those point shows for the IRA as well. They don't anymore.
Was at Cedar Lake on Fri and saw Balog get caught up in someone elses wreck. They pulled his car off the track on the hook with what looked like some front end damage. Was surprised they couldn't get it together for Beaver Dam. Must have been worse than what it looked.

I dont really know what drivers or crew you talked to but everyone we spoke with said that they like the shows they run in Wisconsin. A few drivers told us that its always been a good racing track with great fan support everytime they make a stop in beaver dam. I think as long as people keep putting up the money for them to race they will come back every year.
