All I have to say it's obvious who Random Guy really is and he should of listen a little closer to his mentor, and Random Guy you might want to focus your attention on the CW series then KWS.

Richard Brown

Yes I use my real name unlike some that have hide behind a fake namewink=

Who? Who? Please do tell. Few things I enjoy more than outing a troll or seeing one get outed.

Gary thanks for the hard work. You still find time to help your friends (off the clock of course). It is amazing how when the green flags get waving we all settle into our own little zones. I think the weather has had us all cooped up to long. Let's go racing! Here's to sprint car racing. Wherever you are watching (hopefully Tulare Saturday)

who the hell is Richard Brown? what does my name (Steve) have anything to do with anything anyway? my email is [email protected]. sorry if you wanted more than that. if you ask for more than that ill have to assume you want to do dinner and i dont go that way. i used to take my time responding, but now i just let it fly. maybe i could use more spellcheck or highlights or something? i dont like what i see from kotw and see little difference between Golden State and kotw. i dont see where ive been wrong about much but it doesnt take a straight a student to see what will happen when you call for a C Main and do the math later. i can see feathers ruffled but that wasnt what i am after. i have an opinion. i think i may be close to reality or the truth or whatever is actually happening and thats the reason Richard Brown whoever the hell he is posted. i think the kotw is trying to ruin the foundation of racing in Northern and Central Cal by scheduling races on Civil War dates and trying to steal 360s when they are a 410 group. the schedules dont lie. you do the research. if that is trolling than im a troll.

Random Guy, Richard Brown is Dan & Danielle Simpson`s crew chief. And I agree with your input about all this. New push trucks and various assorted wads of cash thrown at this series still drew just 28 cars for the opener. Time will tell. All the hype has been just that. You can wish them luck, but we just have to wait and see how it unfolds. I was at Antioch for the April race the last three years. The video clip that I saw from last Saturday did not show much of a change in the show. Only some shiny new stuff that will loose its luster.

RANDOM GUY- STEVE: FYI. Stands for: FOR YOUR INFORMATION

I'm sorry to tell you that you are wrong. Last year GSC races on the same night as Civil War - Both series run by HANDY RACING PROMOTIONS

2010 GSC and Civil Schedule
April 10th GSC- Thurnderbowl Raceway
April 10th Civil War Series-Petaluma Speedway

May 1st GSC-Santa Maria Speedway
May 1st Civil War Series- Placerville Speedway

May 30th GSC Calistoga Speedway
May 30th Civil War Series- Random Guy Silver Dollar Speedway

July 24th GSC Marysville Raceway Park
July 24th Civil War Series – Petaluma Speedway

July 31st - GSC Petaluma Speedway
July 31st - Civil War Series – Placerville Speedway

August 7th - GSC - Ocean Speedway
August 7th - Civil War Series, Calistoga Speedway

FYI – Handy does not schedule a 360 race against each other 360 tracks that run Civil War races but he DID/DOES schedule 410s against the 360s.

And Handy did not run any Friday night weekly 410 races at Silver Dollar Speedway when GSC was running on a Friday night at another track.

i dont like what i see from kotw and see little difference between Golden State and kotw…
Big deal if you don't see any differences between GSC and KWS. I see changes, I see they are trying to promote 410 racing, didn't see Handy do that. I see someone taking the time and his money to keep it 410 alive, didn't see Handy spend his time & $$$$. I see a promoter getting the fans involved, didn't see Handy do that. I saw last year when it was in Handy's hands, Dan would walk thru the pits before the races and tell each driver during intermission can you please go to the grandstands and meet and greet the fans, take your autograph cards and pass them out, I didn't see Handy do that (Handy hid in his water truck and if you wanted to talk to him, like call him, you couldnt get thru or get a return call ask Skipper). I see lots of differences with KWS. You and I may not see it in the car count, and I didn't think there would be a big difference in car count but I'm not bashing it. As long as it's good racing on the track that is what matters. Antioch was great racing!

This Friday 410s returns to Silver Dollar Speedway, enjoy the races (oh yeah Random Guy, FYI the car count at SDS had dropped also)

P.S. You still didnt tell me what driver made it running a local weekly track - still waiting for an answer, or did you skip my reply?

See ya at SDS friday!

Random, "see" means that you actually look at something. Since you were not at the KWS kickoff, how did you "see" anything? Yeah, I know, you formed your opinions based on what you read and saw on the internet. Well. so did I.

And I believe that Dan, George, Gary, and comapny deserve a chance to grow the KWS series. 410's have been hurting for a long time in NorCal. All that Dan and his guys are trying to do is return it to the glory that it once had - by promoting the heck out of it! It didn't deteriorate overnight, and it'll take a while to get back to where it was. The days of 40 car counts at NARC/GSC shows may never return, but I think that its way too soon to pass judgement on the KWS.

Oh, and Richard Brown has been around the sport as a crew chief for probably 30 or so years. So his perspective is one to be valued, and trusted.

MikeDoyle and sprinter 25: thanks for the Richard Brown info. 4u: i dont remember Handy openly recruiting cars away from a Civil War race. it just feels dirty and wrong to do that to another group the first time out of the gates. we will see as the year rolls on.

Random Guy, KWS welcomes 360 to run with the 410s. If you think about it, it probably smart for a 360 driver to run with KWS because the payout is better down the line. But you cant welcome a 410s with the 360s.

See ya at SDS friday!

The true test will be this weekend in Tulare..if they can draw 28 cars again..i say they are on to something..but i have a feeling the number will be much lower.(if so then not much different then last year)...i hope i am wrong...as i wish the KWS all the luck in the world and hope all the hard work they are doing pays off.....

well he wouldn't have been in the infield had bk not put him there... in the end it turned out ok for him... i know tommy t was blamin evan... but he just got the tail end of the bs that started on the restart... golobic and others victims of bk's chop job... i guess you would have liked him just to park it at that point???...

If Suggs would have braked and fell in line... that would have never happend. If Suggs had kept up to pace on the restart that would have never happened... its not BK's fault that the car in front of him is slower and gave him an opening. What would you suggest a racer who wants to win do in that case?... Just let everyone go and he waits for an opportunity? Sugg's has crashed and or taken good competitor's out already this early in the season almost every race.. and has loaded up and left before the main event is over...guilty? Sometimes you just need to own up to mistakes. Also I would like to say that IF Tommy was blaming Suggs maybe it had to do with Suggs not being able to control his car on the restart... was it BK or Suggs who hit Tarlton?!?!?! Funny Chico Chipmunk... you pin point Tarlton for blamming suggs but yet you say Golobic and others were the victim of BK's "chop job" ... so did they blame BK? To answer your question... yes it would be nice of him to "park it"... alll he does well is qualify or crash other competitors out!
