I try to stay out of the bickering that goes on and especially when it is with supporters of the Posse. I find it unproductive and pointless but when the Posse tries to claim Tim for their own after he wins the Nationals I had to point out some facts to set the Posse strait. Tim is not posse; he will race at Attica and Fremont, on off nights for the All Stars and not at Williams Grove or Lincoln. His car, team, motor, and crew are all from OHIO.

I am happy to see Shaffer get the win.
Also happy for Posse fans as they will have the bragging rights for the 50th Nationals winner. Something to be very proud of.
Enjoy celebrating the victory Posse folks!

No the Western Pa. fans will have the bragging rights for the 50th Knoxville Nationals winner.
The Posse can lay claim to the Florida transplant that won the Nationals in 1990.

Since Fred and Lance HAVE beat the Outlaws this year I would consider them along with Hodnett the MAIN Posse drivers and it's been that way for the first two for almost two decades. As per usual Drak you ain't got a clue or you're getting your info from a more clueless unnamed source, lol. When your area finally produces another racer that can actually beat the Outlaws somewhere other than the Grove, I and the rest of the world will finally give your area some due. It's been a long time since the Great G-Man surfaced and that's a pretty long dry spell for an area who thinks they are better than everybody else but in reality, just aren't. The Grove itself deserves the vast majority of credit, always has. Typed by a very content Canadian, a little disappointed for Sammy, no make that, very disappointed for my guy Sammy. Life is quite good, Take It Easy....

Ohio car, entirely Ohio team, he has never run a full season in posse country - AND he's still posse???
C'mon guys. Enough of the petty stuff. Just be satisfied to say that we're all happy that such a deserving driver has won the big prize.

Gee, a blown motor = whooped?
What's Rahmer's excuse?
It's when you beat a guy on the race track that you can use the terminology "whooped"; a guy who's parked at this trailer due to a motor failure is hardly whooped.
Beaten, yes, but not whooped.

has anyone told you to just shut up. you really do not have a clue canada. 4 of our top posse guys vs the rest of the 90 plus car field and it being a lock the posse wins? who thinks that. not a true sprint car fan, nor someone who actually goes to weekly pa racing and knows how tough it is to win anywhere! maybe you are a sprint car fan but you suck as an observer. get a clue, 100 of the best drivers in the world. only 25 make the amain. you do the math, so to finish the amain and make the show is a big deal! i know one thing, im happy to say im pa born and raised posse fan. we may have a tough time out on the road, but who doesnt. at least we make the feature!

I really don't think that a 6th,10th and 11th is getting whooped. Pittman said on Friday at the HoF he is Posse this year. straight up. I don't see how you can't call Stevie Posse either. New Oxford, PA was announced all weekend. And are you really trying to convince us that Hodnett isn't Posse? Cmon. Yes, Tim Shaffer isn't Posse he is an All-Star. The Posse put 3 in the top 12. Congrats to Shaffer, that was a hell of a slider.

6th, 10th and 11th... Pittman said at the HoF on Friday in an interview that he feels like he is Posse. Stevie runs 95% of his races in PA and resides in New Oxford, PA. Shaffer is an All-Star, it's amazing how everyone freaks out when either BRR or Cubic start a post. It really is pretty fun watching the haters.
