I wonder how long it will take for someone to challenge the limits of either sanctioning body in a court of law?

You're pretty naive if you really believe that any professional motorsports team signed contracts without getting their attorney involved.

R.I.P WoO

I disagree. I don't see the WoO going away. I see it changing to meet competition, the way a driver might change his line when he hears another driver closing in on his tail.

True.

For this season, Outlaws are taking it to the next level and have improved their traveling safety team.

More info from Justin Fiedler

Thanks Brad & Kyle !!

Employees can sometimes be held under a tighter rein that independent contractors.  Even NASCAR does not play that silly game of trying to limit where the drivers can race.

Ok, you're just trolling, correct?  You don't actually believe this, do you?

R.I.P WoO

So you're saying a series that got less than a hundred people for a show is going to take out the WoO...

Agree.  I watch both, and enjoy both.  It makes me laugh when someone roots for the demise of the WoO.  The only way the WoO can be eliminated, is for the HL to become something all of the WoO haters despise----the WoO.  Just enjoy both series.

Screw the HL/WoO debate.... glad to see Jacob get a $20,000 win after we thought he was gonna retire!!! Smile

agreed, that was a hell of a show....flag to flag.

Ascot was the greatest of all time..

West Capital wasn't half bad either..

Life is good...

I think the music playlist and Dice roll are going to take the sport to another level.

Lost in all of this discussion is the nice driving job.  Jacob wheeled it pretty darn good.

Not sure there is a defnitve answer on which series is "better". High Limits has some cringy ideas like a dice roll, and quarters in the juke box or whatever they are calling it, but so far they have had some really good racing, and cheaper to watch on Flo than the WoO on DV.

First there was the outside pass to overtake Macri in the heat.         Then in the feature he fell back to 3rd and fought his way back to 1st.     Not easy.

Masterful performance Jacob !

So which other/tracks series can Kyle Busch or Chase Elliott or any other cup driver/team take their cup operations and race outside the NASCAR series with their cup car? Nowhere. NASCAR is exclusive. There's no other series that races those particular cars. If there was, you can bet your ass NASCAR would have their teams on contracts that prohibit them from racing the other series races and vise versa.

I wonder why Bell hasn't sued Gibbs.... Oh, I know, because it's in the CONTRACT he signed.

Awesome job by Jacob.  A confidence boost like Saturday could go a long ways for him in the HL races this year.  Definately a popular win.

Well I don't see the government coming in and forgiving Bell's financial loss if he runs the King's Royal this year without Gibbs' permission and Gibbs fires him for breach of contract.......lol

Or you mean like in other professional sports where you have limits like riding a motorcycle, surfing or anything else that may result in injury jeopardizing the signed contract?

Wonder how long before drivers take action against WoO who have suffered life changing injuries through concussions and exhibit signs of CTE?

If Jake gets his confidence back and some momentum going maybe he can move back up to the WoO.

If the HIL purses are much larger, as promised, than WOO, he may opt to stay with the HIL.  Money talks...

NASCAR has a monoply of sorts. They also pay lots of money but running the races/series competitively has gotten very expensive and impossible to do for most independent racers. Even some teams struggle to get and stay up front in the races. Their rules on everything are crazy complicated it seems. Driver wearing the wrong gloves . . . . . is their special underwear required?

I've slowly lost interest in their racing as have many of my friends that used to be die hard fans, going to races, etc.  I prefer watching on my DVR. Less than an hour viewing for all three series usually.
