As an outsider- I live on the upper plains- it seems to me that if All-Stars/ Ohio gig was such a good thing, someone will come in to fill that void.

Well the problem now is it appears we have dueling speedweeks.

If true I'll guess Sharon and Wayne county will be on board maybe Millstream.

Sharon is a Dirtvision track. It was one thing to continue their ASCoC partnership, but I'd be surprised if they went with the FAST version of speedweek. My guess is possibly Attica and Sharon spearheading a DV speedweek that will be streamed on DV. It will end up as a proxy war between HL and WoO

They're creating a national series to compete with Dirtvision/WoO for streaming viewership with a revenue sharing model that they view more beneficial to the teams.  Maybe this is exactly what sprint car racing needs, I have no idea. What I do know is how it has negatively effected my region of the country.

Every track running 410's weekly from Knoxville to River Cities stayed with WoO so the effect on our local World of Outlaws shows is that some may not see their favorite driver this year.  If anyone is a fan of Brad, Jacob or Kasey they'll have to go elsewhere to see them.  Aside from that I could attend some type of Sprint Car race every week without driving over 100 miles.  Matter of fact I have a neighbor that moved up from 305's to 360's at the end of last season and have their sights set on getting a 410 if they can make it work.  This area is a hotbed of Late Model and Modified racing with a $100k to win XR event announced for Mississippi Thunder which isn't that far.  There is plenty of racing without breaking the bank to chase it.  When the dust settles we will be fine regardless of whether the touring Sprint Car scene gets better or self destructs.

Yeah that's what I was thinking if there's two speedweeks that Sharon and Wayne county would be on the Attica Fremont version since they all have Woo dates, my question is which one Atomic will be a part of.

Two tweets from Justin Fiedler/Dirtrackr earlier today.  Very exciting and positive news!

"Sounds like good news coming soon out of Ohio for the future of Speedweek. Lots of cooperation between tracks, streaming, and series.

June 7th - 15th

Attica, Fremont, Waynesfield, Wayne County, Hilltop, Sharon, Muskingum County, Atomic.

Half the week on Flo, half on DV."

"Expect an announcement soon from Aaron Fry and the FAST Series. WRG and High Limit leadership involved, won't be two speedweeks and a big split."

Strange.... somebody on IOW posted an Ohio Speedweek schedule that included DIRT & Flo both

He said it came from Hilltop Speedway FB page, but I couldn't find it....

Anybody know? WTF?

As I understand it, some races will be on FLO and some will be on Dirtvision.

Thanks, I just checked out that link:

In Ohio over the weekend, we did get a very good resolution for the future of Ohio Sprint Speedweek. With the end of the All Stars via the High Limit acquisition, things have been incredibly fluid in the Ohio sprint car scene over the last several weeks. The rumors pointed towards two separate speedweeks, and possibly two competing regional series, with Aaron Fry's FAST Series already in place, and a startup ready to challenge them. That startup series was supposedly hours away from being announced at one point, before it died on the vine. You might remember back to November 18th when Ross Paulson posted to Twitter that he was backing out of the project to start that second series. With Speedweek though, we got great news over the weekend that the entire area was coming together to make this happen as a unified deal. At PRI late last week I heard rumblings a deal could be imminent, and Saturday I got the word that it was done. June 7th through the 15th in 2024, with nine races in nine days. Attica, Fremont, Waynesfield, Wayne County, Hilltop, Sharon, Muskingum County, Millstream, and Atomic are the nine dates. The week will be split on the streaming services between FloRacing and DIRTVision, and this thing was a group effort by everyone around the state, and from both the Flo slash High Limit side and the World Racing Group side. I feel like this level of cooperation doesn't happen often in dirt racing, so big kudos to them for getting this done. The FAST Series confirmed everything on Sunday via social media. I know this wasn't easy, but the sport as a whole can't grow until we see more of this with tracks and series working together for the betterment of everyone.
