Silly rhetoric

This has  nothing to do with "socialism". Socialism means public ownership of the means of production.

This is about making a competitive, totally capitalist sport more fair, & keeping low budget teams afloat

Similar to keeping Walmart from killing Mom & Pop stores

It has everything to do with socialism......this is how it starts!

Right, socialism would be the Eldora Million paying 100 cars $10,000 each no matter where they finished, but the winner could get a cool trophy maybe?

Looking at the posts here lately, it would need to be $10 to get in.  50cent pizza, quarter drinks, $1.00 beer and the show needs to start at 7 and be done by 9pm.  Tony could just make up the difference out of pocket.

If port/lincoln charged $15 to get in, then they would not gain but 9 "fans", because everyone else can come up with the extra $5, just buy 1 less starbucks, 1 less big mac or 1 less case of bud light for the week there sparky.

Then they drop the purse the same 25% because less gate money.  Then 18 cars show up for $3000 to win and $300 to start, then fans get to see 3 heats and an A main (but hey OUT BY 9PM!!!!) then fans say that aint worth it and less fans come and it spirals from there.

Port and Grove paid out over $800,000 to 410 sprints this year (even with the rainouts).  That don't happen at a $12 local show ticket, or a $25 WoO ticket price. If you don't care about the purse, you are ignorant to what gets cars to the track.

The winner still got 1 million.  He is suggesting that the bmain cars get more than the winner.  That is socialism at its best.

I hate to break it to you....but Port and Lincoln would gain more than 9 spectators if they charged 15 to get into a regular show.

The winner should get a much bigger amount.....since you know he is the winner!  Get your garbage out of here.

Yes the bmain cars more than the winner share of the purse.  That is so wrong in so many ways.

Next you are going to want everyone to get a participation trophy.  This is too much.   LOL!

The HL races during the week will benefit sprint car racing with Brad Rico and Kyle no question they are the best right now so any podium would be deserved. WOO wont be affected much and room for both organizations to survive. Its different when Steve and Sammy tried to defect to USA I think  Brad and Kyle have Flo and I assume their pockets are pretty deep. Personally I think estimated $10K per night to race is crazy. Top crew cheifs dont come cheap and guys such as Ricky arent cheap and are definately important to winning.Wish them all the best.Kyleand Brad dont really need the headaches that being a promoter brings but I think they are doing it to help the sport!

True socialism if I ever saw it.

The bmain cars get tow and not 28 grand worth either.  That is way too high. You are now penalizing the cars that run good.

You need to pay the bottom of the field a thousand or you will have 10 cars show up to race.

If there is a race that I can go to whether it is High Limit, WoO, or quite possibly a regular show and it fits into my budget and time window, then I am going to go to it. I don't do streaming because typically we are gone on weekends anyway and we go to a fair share of races too. To me, a lot of people are WAY overthinking this. Its racing, a lot of us do not have any personal, business, or professional ties to any of these series so all of the people talking boycotts, refusal to support a driver or series, crying because a certain series isn't listening to YOUR opinion is just silly. We are fans, go to the race track or watch it if you feel it will be a good race.

I am not saying that.  The Nationals have the best payout from 1st to last year in year out.

What I am saying is if you e a big show like the HL or Outlaws there structure is pretty fair.  That is why the HL had so many cars show up each night they raced.

Bmain cars deserve tow money if they don't qualify.....but not more than the feature winner.

It's called capitalism, not socialism.  Socialism takes and redistributes the wealth without choice.

A promoter or series can pay out through the field however they want.  It's up to the drivers & teams to decide if they want to participate.  It's then up to the fans if they want to pay to see the races.  Capitalism, not socialism.

I think all racers deserve tow money. I'd take the total available and divide it by the miles the racers drive to get there. Pay them all fairly.  Completely independent from prize money or where they start or finish the race.It is about helping them as the deserve.

One thing that hasn't really been discussed much is the track promoters.  They keep talking about not getting any streaming money as well.  Are there even enough tracks that can afford to support two series?  We're losing tracks, not adding them.  Is this a sustainable model for the promoters?

It's going to be interesting going forward.

TSR  had the all stars for sale, high limit came in and purchased it. There going to be a regional series just like the all stars where. If they go west Brad and kyle are going to be dependent on west coast cars period. Unless there covering costs for there local point followers I can't see teams towing to the west coast without something in it for them. Your asking teams to spend thousands to tow across country, woo compensates teams.

t'll be interesting to see how things go if Kyle and Brad dominate the series they own, so far it hasn't been an issue.

This years B-Main at the Knoxville Nationals paid almost $70,000 out. I think that is the way to build car counts at big shows instead of giving it all to one team . That is why I stated what I did.No matter what BS trawser thinks.

What does the winner get paid to win the Nationals?  Could it be 105,000. More than that?... just saying!

You just don't get it ! If you ever had enough money to even halfway be a partner in ANY racetrack, you wouldn't last a year.

Yes, I do.....you are the one that doesn't get it.  You can't have 25 grand to win show and pay the B main cars more than the winner gets.   You're robbing the guys that run good.

One thing I see is exactly what happened when the woo and USA went up agaisnt each other.  It will go for a time and one of the the 2 will fold.  Then there was that other 410 traveling series(cant remember the name) that went up agaisnt the outlaws and the outlaws won out.  I know its about the money but as a promotor I would go with the outlaws becasue the people know the name.  World of outlaws is a brand name people relate to.  Allstars are the same to relate to in there area.  But from coast to coast the outlaws will prevail with the people.JMO

Do you SERIOUSLY think paying low budget teams better in sprint car racing will lead to socialism?????

Did anyone actually suggest that? If they did, they were obviously being sarcastic
